Today we say thank you to our French friends of Collateral, for giving our readers an exclusive download of their nice remix of Tanlines. It was about to be an official remix, but in the last second it was withdrawn. Both good and bad news, the good one is that they give it to you guys now as a little gift.

Maman Records tour in Sweden

Our fine French friends of the record label Maman Records is about to visit Sweden for a mini-tour. In three days they will visit Malmö and Stockholm for some special shows, where they bring Leno Lovecraft (NZ), Greatest Hits (US) and Collateral (FR).

LOYAL, MALMÖ, JULY 21
If we start off with the night in at Loyal in Malmö this Thursday, July 21 the night will also hold a Japanese VJ named Misaki Kawai. We know it's gonna be a night filled with great sound and visuals. Tracasseur-fans of Malmö, we recommend you visit this party!

DEBASER MEDIS, STOCKHOLM, JULY 23
Then on Saturday, July 23 the whole crew fly up to us here in Stockholm and we will join them in the dj-booth at Debaser Medis to make the night in Stockholm even better. The Maman crew visit the joint club Tom Tom Shape Up! that is a mix of Tom Tom Disco and Shape Up! ran by the beautiful people Richard Testarossa and Nina Kienast. Tracasseur-fans of Stockholm, we so recommend you to visit this party!

Exclusive download of Collateral remix of Keren Ann

We were just down in Paris to gig at Shamrock Festival at GlazArt and we had a blast. The other nights we were hanging out with nice people we know in Paris. We met the nice guys from Maman Records irl for the first time. Supernice label ran by two amazing guys and they introduced us to Collateral. We wrote about Collateral along with the post about Chad Valley, that is on Maman, a while ago and we said that their remix of Chad Valley was ace.

And now when we met them irl they wanted us to release their fantastical fine remix of Keren Ann for download exclusively at Tracasseur. We are honoured to get the chance to release such a fine remix.

When I stood in the streets of Paris listening to it for the first time in Julien's (Collateral) earphones it was love right away. I told him that this kind of remix was up the right alley for Tracasseur. And now when we're back in Stockholm this tune will let us remember the good times we had in Paris. We hope to be soon back guys and girls of Paris! Au revoir!

Straight out of Oxford this fine bloke come, his name is Chad Valley, or actually his real name is Hugo Manuel and he's also a part of the Oxford band Jonquil.

I discovered Chad Valley via cool Paris-based label of Maman Records when we were discussing things about the nice pop-duo Kisses. They're on the same label you see. Chad Valley make these fine melodies that just keep you hooked, smooth 80s influenced dream pop for today. Wonderful music for your wonderful ears!
