Good Old Days!!!

Good Old Highschool Buddies!! Trisdan, Allyson, Collete, Crystal & I all got together for a fun filled weekend in Park City @ my uncles condo that I decorated. It was a blast. We ate ate ate, and ate some more, and also enjoyed some time on Main Street. We at lunch @ the American Bistro and tried Es Cargo for the fist time. (Tastes like sauted mushrooms) During lunch we realized that Katherine Higel was sitting right next to us with her family. We said hi and she was super nice. It was a great time. We shared lots of stories and reminissed on the past. It was a great opportunity to be real and raw! Thanks Ladies for a great time. We have decied to make it happen more often than every ten years.

Is Thirty good or bad?

I have officially joined the Thirties Club! I wasn't quite sure how I felt about it going into my birthday month, but I guess if I'm not ready to turn thirty, than I'm not ready to turn 40 or 50 either. Point being..... Grow each day, Love each Day, Live for Today, because soon it will be Tomorrow and another decade will pass without even realizing it. I'm Lucky to have Today, ESPECIALLY, because I have THIRTY years to look back on and realize how blessed I am to have my family, my religion, and my health! Not to mention thirty years of Lessons learned------lessons I don't want to learn again. So........Thirty is GOOD!

We set it up and let all the girls make their own cake. So fun. Tanner was my super assistant. I think secretly he wanted to make one too but we ran out of mixes. He's been watching way too much Cake Boss on TLC! Good show though! Dadio pulling kids around on the Four Wheeler! So fun! Ok, Brighton biting it had to be one of the highlights! I had to get this picture before I ran to her aid. She was fine, so I'm glad I took that split second, cause boy is this a good shot or what!

Anniversary Speach....

Happy Anniversay to me and my man. This post is a good 7 days late, but the most important thing is that I remembered to tell Eric on the 1st! We had so much fun attending the Odyssey Dance Theater "It's a Wonderful Life" production. We went with some great friends and had a blast. Eric won the tickets at an event he worked at but tried to take credit that he had planned to take me all along. HA HA HA Love:) I know you better than that! Anyway......I look back over the past nine years and realize, I have been so distacted by 4 wonderful babies that I haven't been paying attention to the the Hot Gentleman with whom those babies were made. Ok, I know you are thinking....TMI Susanne! And to all of you I say, than don't read my blog! It's true though.......think about it all you mama's out there. Haven't we all been in the trap of paying way more attention to our kids and our 15 million other things we have to get done that our Honey's get pushed away completly unintentionally. My new years resolution is to put Eric first. Ok, now I know there are still those of you who are thinking I should have known this all along. That YOU already do this perfectly.......well, again.....I say to you.......click the x in the right top right corner of your screen! I'm sure that only took care of maybe one of you because reality is that we ALL struggle with Balance. I believe the times we feel out of balance is the time we fall to our knees and ask the Lord to adjust our scale. If we try to do it ourselves, we will never be balanced. Think of those old scales in math class that had the tray on each side. If i'm working on the right side, and try to step off to take care of something on the left, the scale will do a teeter totter thing. This is where the Lord is everything! Work on what we can @ that moment in our lives that is THE most important and will impact positivly those around us and the Lord will adjust things for us. We just have to ask and trust! I will now step off my soap box. I just had that thought and hope it may help those of you who may struggle with the impossible task of a balancing act. I Love You Eric! Ok, so I normally wouldn't put a picture like this up on my blog, but It cracks me up everytime I look it, so I have to explain. Crew thinks it's so funny to walk around like this for some reason. One night after bathtime, these two clowns were mimicing each other all over the bedroom. This was the shot I got. Seriously......how classic.
