When In Yer Ear closed, Michael Todd opened Speed City Records on March 1, 1997. What started as a downtown record shop became one of London's lasting independent music stores by staying useful, buying well, and keeping stock moving. That history still matters. Speed City has real roots in London, Ontario and a reputation that was earned over time.
