Wickedly Cute Layout by Sophie Delorme

Hello friends! It’s Sophie Delorme on Paige’s blog today sharing a new layout made with her BooVille collection and her Spiderweb Cut File used as a stencil!

I cut the Spiderweb from scratch cardstock then used it as a stencil to create a fun & colorful mixed media element on a white cardstock background - such an easy way to add texture and dimension to a page! I placed the cutest photo on the left side of the layout and lined up a few houses from the Ephemera Die Cuts along the base to anchor the composition. I used a Title Puffy Sticker and added clusters of Floral Die Cuts, along with fussy cut buildings, leaves, and pumpkins tucked around the photo for a cozy autumn feel. To finish it off, I hand wrote my journaling and added a sprinkle of spiders and Enamel Shapes as the final touches. I hope my layout inspired you and gave you some fresh ideas for using a cut file as a stencil on your next project with BooVille!

Coffee Time Matcha Time Layout by Rochi Villegas

Hello crafty friends! Rochi Villegas here. Today I’m sharing a colorful layout featuring some sweet memories of my daughters enjoying coffee and matcha together using a mix of Paige's Crafted Moments and Lovely Lane collections with Pinkfresh Studio.

I started this layout with papers from Lovely Lane. For my background I used the Happy Together Paper and then I added the Full of Love Paper on top, leaving the Happy Together paper visible around the edges to create a beautiful layered frame. Then I cut several strips from the Stay Present Paper from Crafted Moments and arranged them vertically across the Full of Love paper to add color, pattern, and dimension to my layout. I also cut three strips from the Made of Sunlight Paper and placed them behind my titles, “Coffee Time” and “Matcha Time,” made with the pink Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers, creating a fun background that helps the titles stand out. I loved the way all the patterns work together while still allowing the photos and embellishments to stand out. Next, I added the three photos and arranged them in a way that creates a visual triangle, with one photo at the top right, another in the center, and the third toward the bottom left. Once my photos were in place, I started adding the embellishments. I created a large floral cluster in the center of the layout using a tea cup from the Ephemera Die Cuts and filled it with Floral Die Cuts which became one of my favorite details on the layout! I layered the pieces together using foam adhesive to add dimension and make the cluster really stand out. To balance the page, I created another floral cluster on the left side. I love creating embellishment clusters because they help bring all the elements of a page together and guide the eye from one photo to the next. I also added a few sentiment strips from the Legendary collection for more interest and to help tell the story behind these photos. Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun Layout by Nicole Santos

Hey all! Nicole Santos here with a fun new Halloween layout and of course I’m using Paige's BooVille collection as well as her Branch Wreath Cut File.

I used the turquoise blue skull paper to make the Branch Wreath since I thought that it would really pop on the colorful striped paper from the 12x12 Paper Pack. After gluing the wreath down (only in the center) I added my photos and the title then I bent up the little branches on the wreath to give it dimension. The title "Ghouls just wanna have Fun" is from the Title Puffy Stickers. I then added lots of little fussy cut leaves, pumpkins, and flowers that I cut from the Floral Die Cuts packaging! I also added stars from the Title Puffy Stickers and Enamel Shapes. I finished the page with journaling and white paint splatters. Ghostly Greetings Layout by Paige Evans

Happy Saturday scrappy friends! I have a new layout that I made for Scrapbook & Cards Today using BooVille scraps! Be sure to visit the SCT Blog to download this free Ghost for Stitching Cut File so you can scraplift this page :)

When I first received samples of my BooVille collection I grabbed one of everything and made 6 layouts for the reveal that took place on July 24th! Since then I've been trying to use that same "kit" so that if you purchased 1 of everything you can re-create everything I've been making with BooVille so far! This excludes projects for classes & events ;)

To create this page I cut the Ghost for Stitching from textured white cardstock and then loosely traced the inner part of the ghost on a scrap piece of smooth white cardstock. I punched about (4) 1" squares from each of the papers in the 6x6 paper pad along with a few mint and orange patterns from the 12x12 paper that has the patterned squares. I pieced the punched squares in slightly angled rows across the traced ghost. To add tons of texture & interest I used my sewing machine & white thread to zigzag stitch horizontally and vertically across the squares to create a patchwork/quilted look.

I was going to stitch the ghost in black or white thread, but when I brought in each of my family members to cast their vote, I went with Jane's suggestion of purple! She has an eye for design :) After backstitching with purple thread around the ghost I adhered the page on top of the quilted ghost. I hand cut a pair of eyes from black cardstock and then added my two 3x4" photos on opposite sides of the ghost. I embellished with lots of little things from BooVille such as die cuts, rub-ons, enamel shapes, puffy stickers, cardstock stickers, and chipboard stickers.

I love how this page turned out and hope you're inspired to scraplift it with my BooVille collection and Ghost for Stitching Cut File!

Let's Do This Layout by Jackie Ashton

Hello! Jackie Ashton here sharing a layout using Paige's Crafted Moments and Happy Haven collections. I wanted to document my crafting friend coming to my city for a quick catch up and to see the Snoopy Trail over the summer.

I started with a sheet of white cardstock as my background and added some subtle stencil details using yellow ink. I kept the stenciling quite light. Next, I selected five different pieces of patterned paper from Crafted Moments and trimmed them into strips measuring approximately 1.5" x 1". I arranged these down the center of the cardstock, overlapping the strips slightly to create lots of layers and movement across the page. To add a little extra texture, I added hand stitching along two of the paper strips to help give those paper layers more definition. I backed my photographs using papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I then added 3D foam behind the photographs before placing them onto the layout, giving some dimension and helping them stand out amongst all those lovely layers. To finish the page, I tucked a selection of floral embellishments from Happy Haven around the page, creating little clusters without making the layout feel too busy. A scattering of enamel dots and a few mini puffy stickers added those final little details. I love how this came out and hope that it has provided you with some inspiration in using these collections!

October 31 Layout by Inessa Persekian

Hey friends, Inessa Persekian here and today I’m sharing a new layout using Paige's BooVille collection!

I started with a sheet of white cardstock and let the colorful striped paper from the 12x12 Paper Pack do most of the work. I cut the striped paper apart into individual strips then distressed the edges of each one, setting the purple stripes aside. I adhered the strips across the white cardstock to create a bold and colorful background. I added three 3x4" photos and backed each one with the pumpkins and leaves patterned paper. I arranged the photos in a staggered design across the page which adds a little movement while still keeping the layout balanced. I added my title from the Title Puffy Stickers directly onto the orange stripe so it would stand out against the background without needing another layer. From there, it was all about embellishing! I created clusters around the photos using a mix of Ephemera Die Cuts, Chipboard Stickers, and Floral Die Cuts. I love mixing different textures and dimensions in my embellishment clusters, it gives the page so much more interest without making it feel too busy. To finish everything off, I scattered a few Enamel Shapes throughout the layout and added just a touch of glitter glue to the flowers for some extra sparkle. I love how this page came together! Cutting apart the striped paper was such an easy way to create a completely custom background and the fall colors and embellishments make the whole layout feel warm, layered, and fun!

Crafted Moments Rainbow Layout by Audrey Mutschall

Hello friends! Audrey Mutschall here with a new layout featuring Paige's Crafted Moments collection and a hand-stitched rainbow. I’ve always wanted to create a whimsical looking rainbow made with patterned papers rather than solid colored cardstock, and the Crafted Moments collection inspired me to finally get around to it!

I started by drawing a rainbow and clouds on scratch paper. I decided on only five colors for my rainbow because I wanted fairly thick strips and I was worried that seven patterns might become overwhelming. I cut out each strip, traced it onto patterned paper, and then cut out the patterned paper strips. I made sure to add about 1/8” extra to each strip so I could overlap them when I glued them together - this makes for an easier time when stitching between the colors. The specific papers I chose for my rainbow were the Stay Curious Paper, Create Your Way Paper, One Good Thing Paper, Beauty Ahead Paper, and Full of Hope Paper. Once the rainbow pieces were glued together I poked holes between each paper and did a chain stitch using embroidery floss in coordinating colors. I love the dimension this adds to the rainbow as well as an extra pop of color. I cut clouds out of white cardstock and stitched borders around them using a backstitch. I alternated between white embroidery floss and colored embroidery floss for a little extra flair! When the rainbow was complete I arranged it onto a white cardstock background and added two photos above the left cloud. I embellished with Floral Die Cuts, Ephemera Die Cuts, Puffy Stickers, and Chipboard Stickers. Then I made a title using a chipboard piece from my stash and some pink Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers. Lastly, I added some adorable little Heart Enamel Stickers in a few places to tie everything together. I hope this inspires you to make your own hand-stitched rainbow for your next project!

Beware Layout by Paige Evans

Hello scrappy friends! Here is a layout I made with my BooVille collection and Spiderweb Frame Cut File!

I cut the Spiderweb Frame from black cardstock and placed it, unbacked, over the gray spiderwebs paper from the 12x12 Paper Pack. Next I placed a 3x4" black & white and color photo of Fox & Jane in front of Halloween decor at Disneyland in the middle. I embellished around the photos with die cuts, chipboard stickers, and puffy stickers. On the corners of the Spiderweb Frame I added candy corn puffy stickers and star mini puffy stickers.

Tricks & Treats Layout by Paige Evans

Here is the very first layout I made with BooVille! I've semi-shared it already, but it deserves its own post :)

I used my Tricks & Treats for Stitching Cut File, cut the letters from the 6x6 papers, and did a backstitch with tone-on-tone colors of DMC embroidery floss.

On the white cardstock background I did a bit of mixed media using watercolors and pooled matching colors underneath where the letters would go - purple under purple, yellow under yellow, pink under pink, etc.

I added a 3x4" photo of me and Jane with her pumpkin drink and then embellished with bits & pieces from BooVille such as mini puffy stickers, cardstock stickers, chipboard stickers, enamel shapes, and die cuts. I had so much fun making this too-cute-to-spook layout and hope it inspires you to check out my BooVille collection before it's going, going, gone!

Happy Halloween Embroidered Layout by Paige Evans

Sometimes I see a paper and immediately get the itch to stitch it! Such was the case with the frames paper in the 12x12 Paper Pack from my Halloween-themed BooVille collection with Pinkfresh Studio! It took about a month to stitch this entire page, a little bit here & a little bit there - slow & steady wins the race!

First I carefully cut out the icons inside of all of the frames, all except the two inside the leafy frames. Then I hand poked holes around all of the frames, spiderwebs, and candles.

I did a chainstitch around all of the frames and a backstitch through the webs and candles, using tone-on-tone colors of DMC embroidery threads:

The stitching took probably 24 hours in total. Worth every second to me :)

After finishing the stitching I added Glossy Accents to all of the stars to make them shiny! Next I backed three of the open frames with photos of Fox from way back in October of 2013 when he was only 3 years old. It was our first fall living in Germany and we wanted to visit a pumpkin patch so we drove about an hour away to the closest one and all of the pumpkins were still green lol! So funny. But memories were made and here I am 16 years later documenting it. I just love the skeleton hoodie Fox was wearing - perfectly coordinates with BooVille!

After backing three of the frames with photos I backed the rest of the layout with a sheet of smooth white cardstock. Then I fussy cut most of the icons from the inner frame pieces (along with a skeleton trick-or-treater and a few bats from other papers) and popped them into the open frames. I decorated with tiny embellishments like the Enamel Shapes and star and burst Rub-On Transfers.

The title "happy Halloween" is from the Title Puffy Stickers and I cut it into a couple pieces to fit into one of the bigger frames on the right side. I journaled below the title with an aqua pen and finished with an aqua "hey, pumpkin!" Cardstock Sticker.

This might be my favorite Halloween layout of all time :) Thanks for stopping by and have a spooktacular day!

Create Your Way Layout by Antonia Sherlock

Hello crafty friends! Antonia Sherlock here and today I’m sharing a layout inspired by the beautiful Floral Die Cuts from Paige's Crafted Moments collection!

My favorite embellishments are Floral Die Cuts and I usually include these on every scrapbook layout I make! The florals in this collection are just stunning – so feminine, and the color combination is absolutely amazing! I decided to use white cardstock for my background as I wanted to add some mixed media details. I decided to cluster the Floral Die Cuts at the top and bottom of the layout in a semicircle design. I started by adding gold ink to the page then layered the floral clusters on top. I added my photo and Cardstock Stickers in the cluster at the bottom. I added the title using the pink Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers and heart Enamel Shapes. I liked the overall look of the layout, but something was missing. I trimmed down the sides and layered it onto the Worth Remembering Paper – this vibrant, deep purple frame was just the right finishing touch. I hope you find my layout inspiring! This was such a special celebration to document and the Floral Die Cuts make the layout just as special as the event itself.

Squad Ghouls Layout by Ali Skifton

Boo to you! It’s Ali Skifton on Paige’s blog today and I’m so excited to share my first layout using Paige’s new BooVille collection!

Of course I had to document these fun photos of my Squad Ghouls from Paige’s Trick & Treat event a few years ago! What a fun weekend we had together with all my ghoulfriends. The colors in this collection are absolutely perfect for my photos and matched all of those bootiful Halloween decorations so well. For my background, I chose the fun, multicolored stripe paper from the 12x12 Paper Pack. I also used the back side of that same paper in the center of my layout to help make my photos stand out. I added a bat border punched from the pink paper to highlight the black starry paper underneath and bring even more Halloween fun to the page. I found the perfect title for my photos with all of my ghoulfriends in the Title Puffy Stickers. I just love how cute and playful they are! Next, I embellished my photo collage with the adorable Mini Puffy Stickers and Ephemera Die Cuts. I added 3D foam squares behind the not-so-scary ghosts, bats, spiders, and witches to give them a little extra dimension and make them pop off the page. And seriously… how cute is that little witch?! To finish everything off, I sprinkled Enamel Shapes around my photo collage for the perfect finishing touch. I had so much fun creating this spooky, silly, and totally bootiful layout with BooVille! I can’t wait to create more Halloween memories with this collection. Cheers to a frightfully fun start to the Halloween season!
