Preschool Pictures

I did preschool individual and class pictures for the girls' preschool again this year.  I mostly do it so my kids can remember the preschool friends, etc.  It was fun. Here are a couple shots of my preschoolers.

The girls started playing soccer this summer, and had their first games last Saturday.  They are on different teams (different age groups) but somehow ended up with the same color jerseys.  Thanks to the AYSO coordinators for preventing a fight at our house over soccer shirts!  Both girls were pretty excited to play...until the game.  Kaybree ran off the field crying in the middle of playing twice and wouldn't play anymore.  Kassidy told her coach's husband that her favorite part of the game was when she wasn't playing! Ha, I guess we'll have to work on that.  It was only the first game, so I'm sure it will get better.  They're a little timid, so we just have to toughen them up.  ;)  Kassidy's team is "The Glow Worms," and Kaybree's team is "The Green Dragons."  They are so cute an tiny in their uniforms.  

Little Ballerinas

Kassidy and Kaybree have been in dance this year (Kassidy's 2nd year, Kaybree's 1st)  They are in the same ballet class, and this year got to be part of the studio's ballet production.  They are Munchkins in "The Wizard of Oz." Kassidy is the tallest in the group (2nd from right), and Kaybree is the smallest (and arguably the least enthusiastic:)  This is their dress rehearsal...we are not allowed to video the actual show. 

Outer Space

I love that my kids love to watch Tom and Jerry. They ask for it constantly, and when I finally give in an let them watch it they belly laugh out loud at the parts they think are hilarious. It's so cute to watch them, and it kind of gives me hope that they will appreciate classic things as they grow up.

Anyway, this morning this was the conversation while watching Tom and Jerry:

Tom and Jerry are in Outer Space...

Kassidy: I wish I could BLAST OFF to outer space!

Kaybree: No, Kassidy, you can't! We don't have any outer space. Mom, we need to buy some outer space.

Me: Sure, Kaybree we'll take care of that as soon as the student loans are taken care of.

Actually, I was trying so hard not to laugh that I didn't say anything...but it was cute.

Silly Things

I will be posting some funny things, just so I can remember things that my kids say that are cute.

me: Kassidy, what do you want for breakfast?
Kassidy: Snow Flakes.
Me: Frosted Flakes it is.
