Extended Rest

In music theory, this rectangular symbol, between those five lines, is called a rest. It is an interval of silence in a piece of music, which means you play nothing (between the number of beats that it indicates) everytime you encounter this symbol. And the symbol above it is called fermata- also known as a hold, pause, colloquially a birdseye (mata), or as a grand pause when placed on a note or a rest. It is an element of musical notation indicating that the note should be sustained for longer than its note value would indicate.
With the two symbols combined, you get a longer rest.
It kinda reminds me of my long holiday vacation because the school administrator decided to extend it for a week.
