HONEYCOMB BALL GARLAND FOR VALENTINE'S DAY MANTEL {TUTORIAL}

This honeycomb ball garland for Valentine's Day can't help but put a smile on your face!  Although I used red, pink, and white on mine to match the holiday, there is an endless combination of colors you could use to decorate with for birthdays, graduations, wedding showers, anniversary parties, team colors, or a photo op background for any celebration you can think of. Today I'm sharing a tutorial and showing you how I made it!  I first made this garland 4 years ago and was figuring it out as I went along, so I didn't record my process.  After I shared it I was asked quite a few questions about how I made it, so I decided to recreate it this year and document my process in case you want to make one too.  I will say, even after trying to take special care to be able to share detailed steps with you, this truly is more of a "wing it and do whatever works" type of project.  So, I'll share some tips and tricks from my process but you'll just have to WORK ......

TABLE ROD CENTERPIECE WEDDING AND PARTY DECORATION IDEAS

Every year (except shoulder surgery year!) for I don't know how long I've headed up the teacher break room at our Vacation Bible School each summer.  They work so hard and love on the kids well, and we try our hardest to spoil them and give them a nice spot to catch their breath each day!  There's always a theme for VBS that we try to keep in mind when decorating the room.  Decorations through the building in all of the halls and classrooms can get pretty elaborate and impressive, but I tend to keep things pretty simple and concentrate on a serving table focal point and something to add a bit of color on the other tables in the room.   This year's theme was "Magnified", so all of the decorations were nature related and BIG (think "Honey I Shrunk the Kids").  When planning with my friends that help me, we thought we'd go with a garden party theme. CALEB AND KENZI'S WEDDING PHOTOS

We can hardly believe that one year ago today Caleb and Kenzi got married- Happy Anniversary to them!  It has flown by and been full of so many fun new firsts for our family.   We could not be more proud of these two and how they have navigated their first year of marriage!   I haven't shared Caleb and Kenzi's wedding photos from the big day here on the blog yet, so I thought today would be the perfect opportunity to do that.   Out of 1200+ professional photos plus what we have on our phones, it's almost impossible to narrow down a selection to share with you.  I have so many favorites!  I told myself I was not going to load up more than 20 so I wouldn't overwhelm you, but I just couldn't do it and decided to post as many as I wanted to... so scroll on by if you get photo fatigue! 😂 It was the sweetest day!  We had a short rehearsal early to start the day off.  Everything was planned so well and it was nice to just relax through th......
