Wayve is so entertaining to watch. She’s learning and growing and beginning to get a personality. She hits her head if she’s mad. Or she hits her head against a wall or counter if she’s mad. She’s still a chunker with a pop belly. She wears size 3T clothes and is still on the bottle. She weighs 31lbs and weighs herself everyday before she gets in the bathtub. She’s doing a gymnastics class only for a month. She likes to run around but doesn’t like the stretches. She loves books, mostly just to eat them. She’s generally been a good sleeper, except when she’s teething. She can say most the boys names. Amy for Amos and of course mama and dads. She loves her baba and asks for it often.

ANIMALS
Animals, animals and more animals... Ridge is being tutored for his reading and he doesn’t love it. We’ve decided bribery might help. So if he reads so many minutes or improves on his accuracy, he can earn animals. He’s been reading and trying a lot harder this last month! We are getting lots and lots of animals in his pen.

NOT MUCH SNOW
This has been a very dry winter for us. We flew in to Utah at midnight on Sunday night from Costa Rica and wanted to drive home. The roads were awful. Strawberry was so scary. It was blowing and a white out. It almost took us 5 hours to get home from Salt Lake. I-15 was snow covered, you couldn’t see any lanes. We should have never drove home in that, but we kept thinking It would get better. When we got home we had maybe an inch of snow. I thought there would be a lot more!

Day 7-9
We spent day 7-9 in Manuel Antonio. This is a very hot beach. The hotel we stayed at was the same from the year prior. However, the owner had changed and it was nasty and questionable! This was probably my least favorite part of the trip. There was no water when you showered and it was cold. The property was over grown and lots of bugs. The beach was nice, except the two women who thought it was a top-less beach! We all got fried even though we tried to keep sunblock on. I love Manuel Antonio, I just didn’t love the hotel this time.

DAY 6 - Costa Rica
This day is spent traveling. It’s a 5 hour bus ride and we stopped twice. Once for snacks and once to each lunch and look at the crocodiles. Wayve did pretty good. It’s work to have her on the bus. We didn’t have a car seat so she thought she was free to roam all over. We had a booster seat but she could get out of it. The bridge is scary... Costa Rica drivers are crazy!!! The bridge is very narrow and they drive 60 mph through it. I seriously wonder what the death toll is of people that get hit by cars in Costa Rica is. They haul butt and people are walking on the road, there is no shoulder. I bet we missed 50 people by inches! And the crocodiles scary me. They are just waiting to eat someone!!!

DAY 5 - COSTA RICA
We went zip lining to HUGE AMAZING zip lines in the morning. The pictures of zip lining are on Dusty’s phone so I need him to send them to me. Then in the afternoon we went to Baldi. That is the water park at the bottom of the volcano. I didn’t get any pictures this day of the water park. We were having a great time but I was getting pretty wore out. Wayve was good, but there never was laying around relaxing. It was always helping a kid, looking for a kid, or feeding a kid. It was so much fun, but so much work trying to keep track of everyone! Not very often can you see the top of the volcano. This was the best I’d ever seen it’

DAY 4 COSTA RICA
We went zip lining across the most besitiful landscape ever. My mom stayed with the baby and the boys, Dusty and I went. The boys loved it. I was worried if Range would like it but he did. Then we went to a water park. Lot of the pools were hot. They had fun water slides for the kids. The boys ran and played and wore themselves out. It was such a fun day!
