Family Reunion 2013

We had the opportunity to go to Washington for a Eyre/Peterson family reunion.  My mom and step dad just came back from a LDS mission to Armenia.  We had a lot of fun.  We went to Cle Elum Washington to Ensign Ranch.  It is a church owned Ranch just outside of Seattle.  We spent 4 days there doing lots of fun actitivies such as:
Taylee and Colton went horse back riding.

 Taylee loved it!

Colton not so much.  He didn't cry but he wanted to get off.  He was a trooper and stayed on the whole time.
We even got unlce Nick on

Uncle Nick loved holding Carter.  This is on our hay ride with the whole clan.  We even broke out in song.  It caught on and it turned into a "every song you learned in Girls Camp" hay ride.

Colton and Taylee really had fun with their cousins.  This is still on the hay ride.

And then there was the Slip n Slide.  What a blast!  We even got Larry and my mom to go.

Then it turned into lets see how many tricks we can do linked up.

 Here comes Grandpa

Uncle Shayne.  Or as we like to call him "the ring leader"

My little brother Nick, would not go for the longest time!  We finally got him to go, and look what happened!

Canoe rides were fun!  Taylee lost one of the oars and of course is sunk right to the bottom.  We had to go and get a long hook and fish it out.

We took a hike to see where I went to girls camp growing up.  This is one of the nicer A frames.  My step sister was shocked and said " I thought our housing was bad at girls camp, but this is so much worse."  Even Bryce was shocked.  We didn't know the difference when we went.  I just remember how much fun we had!

The place we stayed had this awesomely huge rec. area.  The kids loved it and we loved it too.  We could send them there and let them work off a little energy.  It is also were we held our very funny skit night.  My brother Ryan was in charge and it turned out very funny.

Bryce and Nick were reenacting Princes bride!

Taylee was a mobster!  Yes that is a cigar in her hand.  This is not "G" rated.

One night we put on family skits.  Before it started my brother Ryan had music playing as background music.  WELL..... it turned into a in prompt to dance party.

Every camp out has marshmallows.  Our kids had so much fun and Bryce and I had a blast catching up with everyone.  I can't wait until next time!

My water babies

Cater and Taylee LOVE the sprinklers!  Taylee would run in them until she fell over dead from hypothermia.  I have a feeling Carter will be the same way.

Colton on the other hand is perfectly ok with just watching.  It's way to cold for him.

Summer Fun 2013

I hate the fact that I have been so bad at blogging.  My worst fear is that I will forget the important and fun things that we did, and that when I look at pictures I wont remember what we were doing in them.  It has been a crazy year so far.  Bryce and I decided to build a house, and since he wanted to build it himself it has taken a lot of his time and mine.  I also have a seperate blog for each one of my kids which takes a lot of time.  This past year I have been struggling with some health issues and have not had the time to deal with a blog.  I know excuses excuses, can I throw in there a new baby who sleeps in the computer room.  Any time I wanted to blog was when he was asleep and couldn't go in his room.  It's just not been a top priority.  Enough said!  I start somewhere so how about what we did yesterday.  We took the kids to the movies.  They each got to bring a friend.  Carter stayed at home with Grandma Munns.

Colton brought his good friend Tegan.  It made me sad they decided they wanted to sit away from us.  They sat on the front row and we sat 7 rows behind them.  My little guy is growing up and getting more independent.

Taylee brought her best friend Emalyn.  We went and Saw Ice age continental drift.  I don't think the girls cared for it that much.  They kept asking me if it was time to leave.  They did have fun being together.

We bought Summer movie passes.  They have 12 movie punches for $8.  They play the same movie twice a day for a whole week and then change the movie every week.  The kids love it.  I think there favorite part is the fact you get a popcorn and small drink for a $1.

Time Flys when your not blogging

Hey y'all I am here, we are ok, no one is hurt, in case you were wondering where we have been.

What a summer, fun but busy.  I am still trying to adjust to three kids.  Don't get me wrong I love it, and Carter is the best baby EVER, but it takes a lot more time.

Here is a run down of our summer...........

Camping, we love to go, the kids love it the most.  We only got to go 4 times this summer, but every time we went we had a blast.

Lots of sprinker runs and swimming!

Lots of canning.  I just love to can.  It gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing I grew it and now I can eat it all year long.  Some of the things that I canned this year.  Pickles, picked beans, beans, carrots, peaches, pears, peas, tomato sauce, and more!

How can you not just kiss those cheeks all day.  Carter has been by far my most patient baby.  He is heaven on earth!
Bryce always makes fun on me for going to yards sales all the time.  Once, yes only once, this summer I asked Bryce to come with me, and look what he bought.  Bryce tried to keep it a secret for him for his birthday but he found it early!  Colton just loves it and is really good at riding it.  It scares me to death but he has fun, and is learning a lot.

We took the kids to the movie one night.  We saw "Brave"  Taylee didn't like it she thought it was scary, Colton loved it!  As you can see in the picture, it's hard for my family to be serious.

We actually got to go to the movies quite a bit.  Some lady was giving away her summer movie passes at the paramount.  They had 4 punches on them so we took them to two movies.

One night as I was outside talking to my father in law I heard a tiny meow.  I looked around and found this little kitten.  The smallest furriest kitten I have ever seen.  We left it outside all night to see if the mom would come back and in the morning she was still there.  She was so weak she couldn't even walk, so we feed her some cows milk out of a babies bottle.  Apparently that is NOT what you are suppose to do, she got the runs really bad.  I ended up getting her some milk replacer but about 4 days later she passed away.  The kids where soooo sad.  Not the highlight of our summer.

We took the kids to the Eastern Idaho State Fair this year.  We actually take them every year.  Last year Colton was too short to ride any of the rides so we told him next year he could.  Well, he remembered, smart kid.  We bought them tickets and they had so much fun.  Taylee was actually more daring that Colton on some of the rides.  Of course you can't go to the fair without having some fair food.  I tried this hamburger on a donut, oh my heck it was soooo good!  It was a good time for all.

My sweet Colton brought these home for me from Grandma's garden!  Yes, he asked first, he is so sweet!

My little guy turned 5 this year.  He is getting so big.  One of his favorite toys besides his dirt bike was his shovel grandpa Munns gave him.
This little guy can roll over, sit up, and started solids all in the last couple months, time flys!

Colton started preschool up at the college.  He goes Monday Wednesday and Friday for 2 hours.  He loves it!

 these two love to dance!

 HALLOWEEN!

We went to our wards trunk or treat the day before halloween and then on Halloween we took the kids trick or treating to the grandparents and aunt and uncles house.

For breakfast on Halloween I made the kids pancakes with blood syrup.  For dinner they had Spoooghetti.

I had two cute costumes for Carter Scooby doo and a skunk!

In the ditch by our house there was some fish that couldn't go down stream once they stopped the water from the canal.  Grandpa and Colton decided to fish them out!

Now we are all caught up!  We really did have a awesome and busy summer.  We are so blessed to live where we live and have the opportunities that we do.  We are loving every day of being a family!
