Arab Street

Well, I was supposed to post this entry last Tuesday but somehow I forgot about it, but anyway here it is!

It was just a random afternoon walk right after we had our daily dose of coffee and before our super late lunch. And as you might have seen on my instagram, I finally went to the newly opened Arabica Coffee in Singapore as I had been craving for their coffee ever since my last Hongkong trip, which was last year I believe. It was so good that I can’t wait to be back again tomorrow.

What I wore: Duma dress that I altered, Eesome X CK dress shirt as an outer, Kenzo Tali bag and shoes are Christian Louboutin’s Xiloboot.

Evil Eye

I'm pretty sure I haven't posted any pictures of myself posing at The Pigeon Valley in Cappadocia up until today (on instagram) because well, I've been saving these pictures for the blog. I kinda fell in love with this place ever since the first time I looked it up on google; I even planned my outfit way before the trip. Obviously tried a little too hard to blend in with the evil eye tree hahaha.

Anyway, speaking of which, did you know that back in the day, people believed that carrying the evil eye amulet will protect you against the evil eye curse? I actually find the meaning behind evil eye symbol is really interesting, and just in case you wanna know about it but too lazy to look it up, here you go:

"The evil eye is a curse or legend believed to be cast by a malevolent glare, usually given to a person when they are unaware. Many cultures believe that receiving the evil eye will cause misfortune or injury. Talismans created to protect against the evil eye are also frequently called 'evil eyes'."

Archive: March 2018

Time travelled back to March 2018, to an unforgettable experience with Omega, a “Journey to Aqua Terra” at the beautiful Amanpulo, Palawan Island in Philippines. Discovering the latest collection of Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Chronometer, which has been designed with simplicity, comfort and excellence. Each one of it, is water resistant, anti-magnetic and beautifully designed for life on shore, thus the event was held in an island.
My choice is the exquisite Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M, Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Ladies' 38 MM. It’s elegant and classy, a perfect fit for everyday wear and even for “solo days on the ocean”.

Crystal: Domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides
Water-resistance: 15 bar - 150 meters / 500 feet

New Year Greetings!

It's the first day of 2018 and so I would like to say Happy New Year 2018 everyone!! Past year has been one huge roller coaster ride for me, well you know I hate roller coasters, but there are just so much feelings during the ride, some ups, some downs, some 'fiuh' moments and finally feeling 'relieved' after it ended.
And again, I won't get tired of saying thank you to my family, dearest husband, friends and to you all, my readers for all your support and for always believing in me. You guys are the reason why I ended the year of 2017 on a cheerful note, so THANK YOU. May all of you have a fabulous New Year and may your heart always be filled with joy and love, cheers!

Kicking in 2018 with one of my favorite colors, the popping red! The velvet dress/robe is from my latest collaboration with Etiquette, The Morning After (Christmas edition). Wore it as an outer instead of a dress and paired it up with a plain white camisole, and plain black shoes.

Anyway, did you do anything special on New Year's Eve? As for me, I watched the countdown and fireworks on TV with my husband, accompanied by chips and beers, and yup we did it in Sydney. In fact it was my third year doing the same thing over and over again, yet I still feel content ;)

Late Autumn

You know I always love Autumn season, and well it was my first time visiting Tokyo's very own Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and it’s really beautiful, I couldn’t stop taking pictures. Went align with the Autumn vibe in my floral ERDEM X HM skirt and Marina Hoermanseder kasper flowers just because they match each other.

It was quite cold that day but I was too lazy to wear my non matching jacket because I didn’t pack my black coat to for this trip, so I wore my heattech long john and this turtle neck instead. The trick worked and it was magically warm enough, I promise ;)

Shabby

Am currently obsessed with Shabby De Hat boater collection just because their pieces are so fine.

The one that I'm wearing here is the second boater that I scored from their store in Bangkok last month. You'll know it's not just an ordinary boater hat simply by just looking at the material. This one is definitely thicker and firmer; it looks more expensive than its original price (yup, it's that fine, at least in my opinion).

I love how it compliments just a simple outfit without looking boring, definitely a darling!

3rd Floor

From last weekend staycation at The Gunawarman. We were just exploring the entire building and found this lovely spot on the last floor so might as well use it for outfit pictures. Here, I was carrying one adorable I got from Marie de la Roche, a luxury brand based in the Middle East. It's 100% made of love and care; it's precious. I believe some of you might have already seen it on my instagram before and just so you know, the real stuff is just as beautiful as in the picture. What I love about the bag is not only because of its playful and unique look, but also because it's spacious, even my camera fits inside! How convenient.

Santa stop here!

It's already past midnight here in Sydney, and so I would like to wish everybody a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS! I hope you have a wonderful time for it's the most joyful season of the year ;)

This year, I spent my Christmas in the desert waiting for Santa to bring me my presents because I've been very good this whole year hahaha just kidding. You know, just my annual thing, a simple Christmas themed photoshoot for my greetings, and it just happened to be in a desert ;)

Anyway, Happy Holidays!!

My kind of off shoulder

I believe everybody has their own ideal type of something, and here goes my ideal kind of off shoulder. As you know, off-the-shoulder trend has become unavoidable, so when I had the chance to do a collaboration with Duma, I saw the light and poured out everything I always wanted in a piece of off shoulder top.
First thing first, big BIG collar (in this case, we called it long tongue hahaha). Second, hide the buttons because I love it clean. Third, loooong long sleeves with open ends and a button on each side. And last, the length should be longer than your normal dress shirt.
You know I am always a fan of oversized everything so yeah exaggeration of this and that is normal for me ;)
