Technical Difficulties

I currently have a button problem. For weeks now I've been looking for information--that makes sense to me, someone who knows nothing about html or coding--to put a "grab my button" button on my sidebar. I've come far enough that I can do the link, but I can't get the image to show up. Any ideas?

Update: Thanks to this site and this site I've been able to rework and modify the button so that it ((GASP!!!)) works! I've now played around with coding more than I ever have in my life (and I still know nothing about how it works).

I need to lie down now.

Thanks to the awesome help I had today. The internet rocks!
