My Oldest Joy

Here are my two daughters.
This Post is about my oldest!
Some say she looks like
Hermoine from Harry Potter!

She has a husband whom she loves
and adores. He is her eternal
mate.
Her two beautiful children are
her pride and joy, her ups and
downs. Her LIFE!

She has a brother whom she
has always been close too. even
when she hogties him.
She has a bond with her
younger sister that cannot
be broken. Some say Aub
is cute, and her sister is
beautiful! I say they are
both Daughters of God.

My Son

Since this is the Christmas Season
I thought about sharing the three
Joys of my life. My Children.
I'm starting with my son first.
He is my only son,who loves his
family more than life itself. He calls
whenever he is on weekend drills
to see how everyone is.

This is his wife Samantha.
They have been married for
1 yr.
Dallin loves his sisters. He has a
very close relationship with his
older sister since they have been
through so much together. He is
the protector of his younger sister.
Heaven help the man she marries.

He adores his nephew and niece. He loves the outdoors.

But most of all he will defend his
country. He comes from a long line
of military soldiers who have served
their country during war.
For this, I love my son.

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday KeLei and I took Samuel to
the "Kumpkin Atch" as Samuel likes to call
it. I don't know if it was because he didn't
have his hearing aides in, but he just couldn't
say the letter "P"

They couldn't decide which pumpkin to
choose. There were so many out in the
field.

Samuel LOVED the big ones. We finally
settled on a small one he could carry.
I was going to get a picture of him carrying
his pumpkin, but he started getting sick
and threw-up all over Grandma. We went
home a little earlier than planned.

Grandmother

This is a picture of my dear Grandmother
with my cousin Carley. Grandmother died
last week and I will miss her greatly.
She was such a great woman to be around,
always had a smile, was a very good cook
and was always willing to help out anyone.
At her funeral all my relatives were there,
most I hadn't seen in such a long time.
Isn't it a shame that it takes a funeral to bring
family together. Here are some pictures of
my "family". I can't publish anymore. the server
is down. That will be my next post.

I love you Grandmother

The little things in life

There are the little things in life that make
life worth living.

1. having a grandson who hands you
toilet paper while your sitting on the
toilet, then makes sure you wipe
properly and flushes the toilet for you.

2. a granddaughter who slobbers all
over your face while giving you
slobber kisses.

3. a grandson who draws his artwork
all over your quilt and desk, then makes
sure he draws on himself so you won't
feel so bad. oh, did I tell you it was a
permanent marker?

4. a granddaughter who so graciously
spits up all over you so you don't forget
her scent. better than that $75.00 bottle
of perfume I tell you!

5. a daughter who lays in the middle
of your bed at 10:00 at night making
sure you know she loves you a million times
over! oh, don't forget the take my breath
away hugs. no I mean really,
she squeezes you until you can't breath!

6. A son who sits in the emergency room,
who doesn't know, who you are, and
ask you over and over why he is there. Then
there is that little sparkle in his eye when
he realizes it's mom, I don't know her name,
but she is my mom!

7. A daughter-in-law who graciously takes
your son home, fixes his dinner, and wakes
up several times during the night to make
sure her husband is still there, breathing
and moaning w/ a headache.

8. A son-in-law who unselfishly takes
care of your daughter and grandchildren so
you don't have to worry about them. Who puts
up with his mother-in-laws silly little antics,
and makes you laugh with his jokes.

9. A daughter who sometimes gives you
credit for raising her right.
By raising her own children in the light
of the gospel. Who listens to her mom,
even when she has other things to do.
Excuse me who more important here??

10. Most importantly a husband who
loves you unconditionally,
Who is by your side, through sickness
and health. who will laugh with you
while you stand looking in the mirror
at your "love handles"
and who loves you no matter what!!

That's what makes the little things in life
worth waiting for!

overnighter

David and I decided to take Friday off
and go to Norman to see the kids. I needed
a break from work. We stayed at Embassy
suites. The room was really nice. It had a
sitting room, bathroom and bedroom.
We really enjoyed our time away.

The view from the bedroom was not to good
It was the roof top of the swimming pool.
when we pulled the curtains the room went
totally dark. We slept in until 7:30am. That's
sleeping in for us!

from a wonderful DREAM!!
Maybe one day I'll get that relaxing day on the beach,

Memorial Day Memories

This is my dad!
My dad fought in Vietnam..
two tours of duty.
He was a helicopter piolet.
The first time he was there
Dad flew Hueys,
The second time
It was Chinooks.
Dad won medals for saving lives,
and many men depended on him.
Some of his friends did not make it back.
We are so Thankful dad did.
Thank you dad for giving my family
and me the freedoms we enjoy each day.
I would say Happy Memorial Day,
But it seems to ironic.
Instead lets think of the men and women
who put their lives on the line for us everyday.
and for those who gave their lives
for our FREEDOM.
