We like to play WII

Yes, daddy and Addison are playing Wii. Addison just loves pretending she is playing with daddy and repeating everything he says, which is not usually a good thing.
Addison always likes to be in style, and right now out here all the kids have these bracelets called silly bands that are in the shapes of animals or other shapes. She loves to share them with her friends.

We watched a friends dog while they were out of town, Callie. Addison just loved playing with her. Gizmo just walks away from her but Callie would snuggle with Addison and let her baby her. Addison just loved it playing mommy with her.

Grandma's Visit

I have a new calling as Stake Young Women Counselor, and the Stake is in charge of girls camp. I knew I was going to be busy up at camp so lucky me and Addison got both of the Grandma's to come babysit. Grandma Walker came over before camp and the first half of the week and Grandma Cammy came for the second half of the week and played a few days after I got back.

It was my first time away from Addison, but it was nice to know she had a Grandmother to look after her while I was gone.

This picture is from visiting a Day Lily nursery with Grandma Walker. Addison chased this black Lab all over. They were good buddies, and I thought he looked like Skidder (Grandpa Willmore's dog)

Notice both grandma and Addison pictures have a dolly in the picture. Addison will only pose for a picture if she has a doll.

Thanks Again Grandma's! We love you!

Biltmore Mansion

RJ didn't have a spring or summer break this year, so when we had a three day weekend we decided to take a trip down to the Biltmore Mansion in North Carolina. It was built in the late 1900's, and is still the largest mansion in North America. It was amazing, it had a heated pool, refrigerator, and one of the first bowling alleys in the basement.

We visited the gardens that surrounded Biltmore Mansion, and of course Addison would not hold still for any of the pictures. This one, I was standing 50 yards away and I still couldn't get her face toward the camera. Silly Girl! She loved running around the flowers and trees.
We Have a nice Mall here in Richmond that has fountains the kids can go play in. I didn't think Addison would really get in the water that much so I didn't take her swimming suite. Big Mistake. About 5 minutes after we got there Addison was down to her underwear. Oops!

I know I know, it has been a long time grandparents. I have just had both Grandma Walker and Grandma Cammy visit, and they both gave me enough grief if figured I should update the blog.
So the past year in a nut shell...
RJ is now in his fourth year of medical school. He has been working hard this year with rotations. Addison is a cute as ever. She is now 2 1/2. She is always doing new and funny things, I I love being a mom.

July Idaho Visit

Taylor and Addison.

Brendon and Addiosn.

OK, so I know it has been a really long long time. I really am sorry grandparents. I have finally posted our visit to Idaho. Hope you enjoy. You will find the rest of the pictures posted in 18-21 months.

Addison at Busch Gardens Theme Park.
This was our first visit to Busch Gardens this summer. Addison and I were invited to go with Neils and Judi. We had such a great time with them and their family. Addison had lots of attention and she loved it.

RJ's first 2 years of Medical school.
We had to take a picture of RJ's notes. It was a big pile of his first 2 years of Med. school. Now he is doing rounds in different types of Medicine to help him decide what he will do for the rest of his life.

April, Visit from Grandpa and Grandma Walker

We had lots of fun with Grandpa and Grandma Walker. It only took about 5 minutes for Addison to warm up to Granpa playing peek a boo, and she had lots of fun with them during there stay.
We traveled all over Virginia visiting and seeing places. I am sooooo glad Addison is so good in the car. But she has started her tantrum stage which can be a little embarassing in public, good thing she's so cute.

Of course all the things that could go wrong had to go wrong when my parents were in town. Our car with 230,000 miles was stollen, I know what were they thinking. RJ said a BMW was parked just across the street. Unfortunately, we got it back a week later and I was much more upset seeing it after, than I was just having it stollen. The pictures don't give you the full effect of how slobby these people really were. Oh, and our washer broke when mom was here, luckily we have great neighbors that helped us with that. The joys of trials in our lives.

Addison's first Easter Egg Hunt. And she did really well, which surprised me. She is growing up so fast, and she just gets more and more fun. We are so blessed!

12-14 months

I know, I know, it has been forever. Please forgive my laziness. Well this is what daddy taught Addison. RJ was watching a game on TV with Addison, and he got really excited and started hitting the ground and grunting in excitement. Well the next day Addison started doing the same grunting move as daddy (as seen in the picture) And now she does it whenever she is really excited about something. She is such a daddy's girl.
She may be a Daddy's girl, but she is all GIRL. She loves her baby. And she won't leave the house without it. She will give the baby hugs and kisses and pat its back.

I got lots of comments on her "rainbow" bows. Addison hates getting her hair done, but for some reason she likes having the bows in her hair. If she sees one on the counter she will get it and try to put it in herself or bring it to me for me to put in. Silly girl.

Thanksgiving

Daddy and Addison Thanksgiving Day. We celebrated Thanksgiving with some friends in Pennsylvania. The drive up took us twice as long because everyone was driving for the holidays, but we had lots of fun and ate way too much.
Addison, 11 months old. Sunday afternoon. Addison loves hugging her stuffed animals and baby doll. And she copies mommy and pats them on the back, it is so sweet.

Joelle's first pie for Thanksgiving. I was pretty proud! hee hee

Addison took her first steps at 11 months old. RJ was even there for the special event. We were both a little over the top with claps and cheers, what can I say, we are parents.

9-11 mo.

(11 mo.) We went to Maymont this week to see the fall colors. It was a beautiful chilly day. We went to the aquarium, Addison liked watching the fish, and we saw the black bears.
I was a fun day in the sun.
(11 mo.) Today with Daddy after school.

(10 mo.) Halloween; RJ and I were in charge of the ward Halloween Party. Addison was a chilly pepper, Thanks Aunt Rachel for the costume.

(9 mo.) Addison growling in this picture. She does that a lot, and it is so funny.

8 months old

"Ta Da" Addison put on a show for her Daddy this morning before church. It was RJ's idea to take pictures. I love how crazy he is about his little girl, and Addison has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger.
What a sweet face
Daddy and Addison
Mommy and Addison
Addison has been crawling like crazy. She doesn't seem to want to walk yet, she gets around very well on her hands and knees, and she pulls herself up on anything she can get her hands on. She loves to crawl after Gizmo, and she loves to be chased around by mommy. When Daddy comes home from school he is always delighted to hear her squeal and crawl up to him to put her arms out for him to pick her up, it's adorable.

July; Idaho Trip

Grandma Willmore with Addison and Brendon.
Grandma Walker with Addison.
Well, I know it has been a long time, sorry I have been so lazy about our blog. This is clear back from July, our trip to Idaho. We had a great time visiting families, Addison finally got use to new people by the time we had to leave. Crazy momma's girl!

Mo. 7, Baby Mozart

We turned on Baby Mozart for Addison this week. She really liked it, she just stared at the TV, but she had to sit on Mommy's or Daddy's lap, but it was fun to watch her reaction.
Addison loves to stand on her feet, and she is really good now at pulling herself up. She is turning into a big girl too fast!!!
Be sure to check out RJ's video of Addison below.

We are heading out west in a few days so I thought I would post a Grandparent "Teaser". Sorry the video quality is poor. For some reason the camcorder wasn't focusing today. Enjoy. RJ

Watching the Fire Works. Addison fell asleep before they started,
but she woke up to watch them, and seemed to really enjoy them.

Joelle, Maria, and Addison playing games before the fire works. It was cute Addison was giving hugs to Maria, and Maria was pushing her away. Too cute.

Sunday Afternoon in our July colors.

She's Perfect!

Grandma Walker sent this outfit, because every time she asks how Addison is, I tell her, "she's perfect." Addison has been a perfect and sweet little baby. I just can't get enough of her.
Learning to use a sippy cup.
Addison is Climbing up on anything at her level trying to stand. She is now crawling machine!!!
Addison has been sitting up so well I finally took out the infant hammock. She is such a big girl, I hate watching her grow up, I wish I could keep her an infant forever, but I know each stage of her life will be a new adventure.
