Since apparently I can't sleep...

I figured I'd throw some pictures on here to appease the masses....haha or the two of you actually yell at me for not updating this thing.

Back To York

Tim and I went back to York for Mother's Day....yes I know a month ago. Here are some pictures from the day at my parents and of course some pictures of all the puppies together. It was a beautiful weekend so they got plenty of play time.

Queen's Cup Steeplechase

A couple of weeks ago Tim's company invited all of their employees to the Queen's Cup Steeplechase in Charlotte. Tim and I are never ones to pass up free tickets to anything so of course we went. It was nice to meet some of the employees from the Charlotte office. It was an incredibly hot day but luckily there was plenty of shade and water. We had a great time watching all of the races and hanging out with all the people. Next year I need to have a fabulous hat and yes Tim is wearing a purple shirt to match my purple dress.....we're cute like that.

Easter...a few weeks late

Shockingly, I'm late putting up some Easter pictures. We had a very quiet Easter at home at the end of which Tim made a fabulous dinner.


These are the Easter flowers Tim got me.

So instead of making a bunny cake I tried to make some Easter cup cakes. I made every single piece of these from scratch, down to the batter! Tim loved them, I did not have a single one of them haha. I took a lot of them into work and everyone loved them. First time I've ever made butter creme frosting and it was really good. I made three different colors so they wouldn't be boring haha.
Once I frosted them I rolled them crystallized sugar.



They weren't exactly what I was looking for but they were cute! I'll do better next time!!
