Christmas 2009

First of all I can't believe it has been almost 4 months since I have blogged. I'm annoying. I promise I won't do that again because I just spent my whole morning doing 8 blog posts and I kept a bunch out due to my laziness, so I will try harder next year! Now for my last post of the day/year...

Christmas:

I can't believe it is all over! I love Christmas. I love the season, the feelings, the parties, the movies, the friends, the giving, the Christmas cards, etc. But it is so sad when it is all over. We stayed here this year, we spent Christmas Eve at my sister Monica's house and then we had a breakfast at my house on Christmas day.

Christmas Eve pajama party!

This is the whole family in our jammies, fun night, don't mind my dad asleep in the middle! ha.

Um, big boy? He is getting too big too fast.

Santa found our house!

The boys woke us up at 6:00 am this year, last year they slept until 8....i was tired.

Happy boy.

Grayson likes to line everything up to see what he got!

This was the big one from Santa.

A Nintendo DS? What?

Score.

Hilarious.
This is scary, but don't we all have the Christmas morning scary pictures? I had to!

Wade and I took the boys to Sea World the day after Christmas to get one more use out of our pass. It was a cold but fun day.
Bennett's favorite toucan.
Freezing our butts off waiting for the Shamu show.

That's all. It is all over. Bennett already asked how many days until Christmas....ha ha. Not that already!
Happy New Year!

70's Mixer

For our work Christmas party we had a 70's mixer! Everyone came in their 70's work attire and we partied! Ha ha. It was a really fun day at work and party dressed like this!

I'm lucky to work with Wade and my sis! You won't see me wearing this anytime soon, but my mom said i should rat my hair more often! No thanks.

Christmas at the Ritz Carlton

We took the boys and Payton and met the Christensens at the Ritz Carlton for the tree lighting at the end of November. We got bundled up and had a fun time.

This is their version of a gingerbread house, a sea castle made out of all edible goodies!

It was a beautiful day.

They had a concert going on, so we all danced and played until Santa came out and turned on the lights to the big Christmas tree.

Grayson couldn't stay awake for all of the fun.

We had fun, we will have to go back next year for sure.

Bennett's Thanksgiving Feast

Bennett's kindergarten class had a big feast the week before Thanksgiving. I was able to go and watch them sing some songs and eat their yummy food. They had it catered from Boston Market, I thought it was pretty cute.

Bennett was an Indian.

Sharing his cornbread with Grayson.
I'm so Thankful for these two cute boys!

Girls (Over)Night- Palm Springs

Some friends and I took a night off and went to Palm Springs. We got two villas and partied down. Well as much as 11 moms can! Ha ha. We were greeted by a bat at our room, it was a funny way to start the night. After about an hour and getting maintenance guys involved we got the bat out of our area!

We went to dinner to celebrate for Elizabeth's birthday!

Happy Bday Elizabeth!

Out for a fun night!

Bagels in the morning and then off to shop at the outlets!

We ended with dinner at Spaghetti Factory and then back home to the kiddies and hubbies!
Lisa was able to come down for the weekend.
Hope we can do it again, but next time i hope to be laying on a beach instead!!!

OCTOBER

October was a blur of Halloween activities, here are a few:

TRUNK OR TREAT:

How cute are my pirate boys? Grayson wanted to be a pirate, and Bennett didn't until his friend Spencer from our ward let him borrow his costume and then he was on board!
They wouldn't keep their mustaches on for very long!

Sawyer and Grayson at the ward trunk or treat.

Grayson and Kaden being silly!

Payton, Paisley, and Parker came to trunk or treat with us.

We decorated our trunk like a pirate ship...sort of!

The boys with Maggie Hunter after getting all of their candy!

CARVING PUMPKINS:
Aunt Tara came over to carve pumpkins with us.

Bennett actually did his pumpkin this year, we didn't have to do it for him! That was sweet.

The final product, the boys with their friend Aiden.

This is what my boys do when they don't want to smile, they lean their head back and open their mouth....so annoying.

PUMPKIN PATCH:

HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL AND TRICK OR TREATING:
A local church puts on a huge carnival every year for Halloween so we started there. Everything is free, so it is fun!

Look how much fun they had on this....they were laughing so hard.

We met up with Kaden and we waited in line for an hour to ride a pony!!!

Grayson thought trick or treating was amazing...he would get so excited that everyone was giving him candy!
Parker ditched us on Halloween, he is getting too big and cool for these little kids. This was our trick or treating group.
Playing with his loot.
Scary pirate!

Arrrr matey!
We had fun in October, but it was a busy month, can't wait for it all again next year!!!
