"L" 15 months & Case update

I can't believe how long we've had L (9 months) and she's already 15 months old!
Per her check-up yesterday, here are the results:
She weighs 22 lbs 15 oz
She's 30 inches long
She's in the 50% for weight and head circumference and 25% for her height!
So basically, she's perfect!!!!

So right now, Vince & I have completed our physicals, fingerprints and home study interview. We have one more home study interview in a couple of weeks.
The SW is working on transfering the case (which is 10 volumes of PW in binders) to the adoptions department. I had hoped that she would have done this weeks ago, but I'm on to her now :)
A volume is considered ONE binder of PW (info on the birth parents). So, there's a lot of info to be transfered, copied, transfered and then given to us!
We're still shooting for the adoption by the end of Nov. I hope it happens!

Misc kid pics...

L is walking! Here's a pic of her caught in the act.

Bug being silly, wearing sissy's headband.

He finds it hillarious!

The other day Bug brought all of his bedding out to the living room for quiet time. He brought like 8 stuffed animals...had to have them all!

Yeah......he really isn't alseep, but it's a nice thought!

Spokane Fair

Highlights from the Fair this year were mostly the animals. Now that we have children we have to make that the main attraction. Dom was very good and loved the animals! He wanted to pet them all!
L was not as fond of touching them.

Here's Bug posing infront of the cows as we started our tour.

We got a close-up look at this guy while he was taking a drink :)

Another cow.

I think this is a baby goat that all the kids were petting.

I love the really wooly sheep! They remind me of the sheep in england :)

This was a pretty horse and Bug has no fear!

Family photo! L was in the stroller.

Here's Bug trying to be a good brother by holding sister in the "single" stroller. Jandre gave me this idea way back when she had her hands full of lil ones! Put the seat all the way down and you can fit another kid in the back :)

Oink, Oink!

These were big turles! Kinda cool.

I think these are corn snakes? Here's the two from the front...

and their backs...eww!!!

The Bunnies were so cute!!!

Here chicken, chicken! Cool lookin chicken huh?

More chickens

These are the prettiest ducks I think I've ever seen!
Look at their colors!
Two of them were in a fight and pecking at each other.
Well, this ends our fair journey this year. Hope you enjoyed the pics! The weather was perfect; 80s I think?

Labor Day/Silverwood

Vince and I found babysitters and headed out to Silverwood! It's been a few yrs for us both!
The weather SUCKED, but we enjoyed being w/each other. We didn't last more than 4 hrs, but hit all the rollercoasters, except the Corkscrew.

Vince went on Panic Plunge:
Here he is getting ready to go up...let's see if he still has a smile on his face when he gets down :)

He's up there!

And comin down! Look at his face!!!

Oh, he's so happy to be on the ground again!

So this was our first look at the newest and scariest rollercoaster (Aftershock) at Silverwood!

We were sitting the third row from the front...first it starts you off going backwards and up this tall tower...

Then you go back down going forward and do the loopty loop and then you go up the other tower...and go back down in reverse...your stomach is seriously messed up!!!

We went on a train ride and this view is called "rollercoaster alley". You can see 3 of the 4 rollercoasters from here.

Here's a more up close look at the whole Aftershock!

Poor Vince was getting hit w/cold rain going down his neck :)

There was a beautiful rainbow we got to see after the rain!

This is us leaving the park. My fingers were SO frozen! I couldn't feel my thumbs or the tips of my fingers. We had fun though!

Some road pics of Timber Terror/Tremors.

A side view of the Aftershock!

Organizing

We got an old cabinet from my parents and Vince actually put it up right away! So, by having this cabinet I was able to reorganize our food storage. I was finally able to put away the canned food from six boxes.

So, this is the cabinet and the food I was able to fit...

This is our shelf and now I was able to fit the rest of food easily!

I have begged my hubby for months to put this shelf up in our laundry room. He finally did it! it's nice to get some things off my dryer (don't mind the basket on there ).

Still in an organizing mood....it continued into the kitchen and organized these shelves too!

Personality!

I had the opportunity the other day to spend some alone time w/L. Vince was kind enough to take Bug w/him to do some errands.
Well, L was being such a cuttie and playing w/me!
I took some pics and it totally shows her personality!

This is "The Look"
She puts her head down and looks up at you w/her eyes w/a little smirk.

Happy girl!

Silly girl!

Gotcha!
I think she was trying to eat the camera. LOL!

Good for a laugh!
She was cracking up here. What a nut!

I didn't catch her in the act, but I looked over and her head was inside the purple hamper....and she proceded to take out all of the whites and spread them on the floor!

Playdate at the Park

Yesterday we met my friend Michelle and her little girl at the park for a playdate! Our girls are the same age.
It was a lot of fun and really hot!

L loves swinging and she says "wee, wee" when I push her.

She was flying!

Bug has learned a new skill...to climb up the slide!

At the top. He made it!

This is Michelle's little girl, Joslyn. Isn't she a doll!

I got one somewhat good pic of the kids!

My attempt at taking a pic of L and I going down the slide.

Silly boy! He was laughing so hard. He went down the slide on his stomach.

Dominic may have a girlfriend... He was pushing her on the swing! So cute!

Both girls swinging and Dom taking turns pushing sissy and Joslyn.

After the park, I took the kids to Once Upon a Child and sold a bouncer and some clothes and bought a NICE winter coat for bug $10, and really cute pink snow boots for L!

On the way home, the kids were beat!

What's funny is the minute I pulled into McDonnalds L woke up and started begging for food!
