Growing, growing, growing!

It's hard to believe 6 months have passed since little Christian arrived in our family!
Here is a photo story of some of the adventure and amazing changes!  :)

Brand new!

One month - the smiles begin!

A special day - Christian's baby blessing in church.
Grandma Aaron made a special white suit for our little angel.

Growing and playing with Margaret

Merry Christmas!

(Grant got a special "soft" blanket for Christmas.
It was rolled up and held together by a circle of fabric.
Grant thought it was a perfect hat.)

Happy New Year!

Two Months

These dinosaur jammies have been worn by all the Vogelmann boys.

Margaret has a talent for making Christian comfy.

Thinking about three months . . . There is so much to discover.

When Walter was a baby, he got a bath every night.  So did Maya and Margaret.  Grant and Truman got a both most nights.  And now, well, little Christian gets one whenever he can.  He hasn't decided whether or not to like baths, but at least he doesn't hate them.  He does, however, love his towel afterward.  (Fabric is one of his favorite snacks.)

Looking at four months

Christian loves to laugh and has done so from a young age.
The first giggles came when I was changing his clothes.
They are adorable and irresistible.  He reminds me of a laughing toy.

Five Months

Christian is usually happy,
except when he is not . . . (like when he is not the center of attention).
We actually took the photo below before the one above.
It's great to have brothers to cheer you up.

Christian is the most talkative of our babies.
At first, he reserved the majority of his talking for his Daddy.
Now, he'll talk to all of us.  He loves to have conversations.
And, he seems to love singing too (although it's a bit loud at times).

Six months!  (Already?)

The six month birthday in our house has
traditionally been celebrated by the start of solid food.
Here's what Christian thought. . .

Playing, exploring, growing. . .

"Flying Pigeon"
When we brought Christian home from the hospital, Truman couldn't quite say his name.  It came out sounding more like "Cridgen".  This inspired a rhyme with pigeon - Cridgen-pigeon.  Soon, the nickname Pigeon stuck.  The fluffy hair and his love of flying and swinging through the air make it an ideal match.

Christians funny little hair-do is a great source of smiles for us.
His hair is light and fluffy, and growing in on the sides, but not so much the top.
The hair on the left side seems to be growing out, not down.
