Easter

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday.  The girls got all fancied up in their dresses, and of course I had to take pictures.  They are just too adorable.

Then, after church, the girls were super excited to get into the new shirts Adam brought home from Florida the day before.  (Adam went to Florida for a week -- that's another post I suppose).

They looked so cute in their shirts I thought.  (But then again, when don't I think they're cute???)

Then we headed out to Troy and Jandy's (in-laws) for a delicious Sunday feast and easter egg hunt.  The kids seemed to all be happy with the haul they brought in.  

While we were there, Adam's brother Troy set up their trampoline.  Adam had to prove that he could still do a back flip.

Bravo Adam.  A 10 for sure!

Then we just played and talked for the rest of the evening.  It was SO nice to finally get some decent weather around here!

We're finally breaking the mold:

Spring Break Day 2

 On the second day of spring break, Mother Nature gave to me:

I'll keep the smiling kids, but the snow MUST GO!

Spring Break

It's the first day of Spring Break for my kids, and of course we wake up to this.  Boo.

But at least all the kids are happy and willing to pose for a picture.

We also have had my niece, Sadie, staying with us this week.  Isn't she a cutie?  Girls, girls everywhere!

And see, even Sadie isn't loving the winter (blah!) weather.  She decided to make some make-shift mittens, and then about 15 minutes after this, curled up into a long winter's nap.  (Though I will admit, having Tora and Sadie both sleeping at once was a nice break!)

Why can't we just have some decent weather already?!?!  I think "Spring" is just a myth to get our hopes up.
