SOMETIMES I JUST HATE COMPUTERS. I was trying to put together a slide show of my Florida pictures, but ended up somehow deleting almost all the pictures from my previous blog posts instead. I'm SO AGGRAVATED right now. . . .so stay tuned while I work out some kinks. . .and I'll have some pictures at a later time. AARRGGG!!!
4 hours later. . .
Okay I think I got everything working now. I updated a few things on the post down and added some pictures from my trip. Somehow I had deleted most of the pictures from all my posts below, but I re-uploaded the pictures to each post. What a pain. That's cross our fingers that everything's working fine now.

Back to Idaho
Okay, okay quit your whining. . .here's your new post. :) (Becky AND Gus!!!)
I got back Sunday night from my trip to Flori-DA! I had absolutely the BEST time ever. Here's a small recap:
Sunday: Arrived at Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. Way fancy hotel! Got to see the former President Bush talk and then see the Doobie Brothers live. Man they're old, but they can still get a crowd going.
Monday: Relaxed and got a massage. Love those!
Tuesday: Texas Roadhouse Humanitarian Day. I helped install a walkway at a camp for disabled children. It was hard work, but so, so, so worth it! Then went to a professional baseball game. Rays vs Blue Jays - first time I've ever seen a professional one! Later that night we went to downtown Disney to eat and walk around. We had a cab driver that was super scary - we all think he was on drugs or something. It was a very eerie feeling in that cab.
Wednesday: Went to Discovery Cove and got to snorkel, feed and pet birds, and swim with a dolphin! Our dolphin, named Capricorn, was in Jaws 3. Absolutely awesome!
Thursday: Went to Sea World for the first time! Shamu rocks! Then drove to Daytona Beach and walked in the Atlantic Ocean.
Friday: Went to Walt Disney World - Epcot. Did all there is to do there and stayed for the fireworks at night. So cool!
Saturday: Adam's mom and I hit WDW hard core! We did all 3 remaining parks in about 13 hours time. We couldn't do all the rides, but we saw Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. It was AWESOME, but my feet were SO SORE by the end of the day. In the pictures you see Peggy and me in blue wetsuits. Peggy had volunteered us to be in a show without knowing that that was what she was doing. We had to reinact Pearl Harbor while they dumped tons of water on us. If you want to know the whole story you gotta call me. That night, we stayed for the Fantasmic show. That has got to be the coolest show I've ever seen. I recommend that to everyone!!!!
So I never had been to Walt Disney World (or Disneyland either for that matter), or Sea World, or swim with a dolphin, so it was all so new and so much fun for me. Now I'm home, and I'm playing laundry and housekeeping catch up and doing books for our business from the last week. I hate coming home from vacation. Why does it have to end??? :)

Florida or Bust
Tomorrow's the big day! YYEESS!! I'm so excited to be getting out of Idaho again and to warm, sunny FLORIDA! A whole week with just Adam's mom and me to relax and play and spend money! :) Can't ask for anything better. I do have the sweetest husband (and mother in law too) in the whole world who is making this all happen for me and not one complaint has come out of his mouth about it. But maybe if you're in the neighborhood, stop by once in a while and make sure my girls are still alive. Ha ha. We have a babysitter to watch the girls in the day and then Adam will be here at night with them. It should be an interesting week for them to say the least.

So I'll be back in a week with hopefully lots of pictures and stories to share. Can I get a yee-haw?!?
These pictures are actually from our crusie in December of 2007, but I wanted a visual reminder of the warmth and sunshine and beaches that I will be in access to here in a couple days! :)
And now maybe for the first time in my life I'll get to experience this. . .
and this . . . UPCLOSE!!!
(And enjoy the "beach song" while you're reading this!!)

What's new?
So I've decided that I lead a very boring life. I've tried about 7 times this last week to try and come up with something to blog about, and so far I've got nadda. Zip. Zilch. None. How boring am I? Actually, so far this month I've been busy doing stuff for our taxes (personal and business) and getting everything caught up before I leave on April 20th. Where do you ask I'm going??? I get to go to Orlando, Florida for a week!!! Here's that story. Adam's mom works at a potato warehouse that supplies potatoes to the Texas Roadhouse restaurants in some of the eastern states. Well every year she gets an opportunity to go to the big Texas Roadhouse convention. Adam's dad was going to go, but now isn't, so I just said one night that if he wasn't going, then I would! Well yadda, yadda, yadda, long story short. . .now I'm outta here. Just me and Adam's mom. We'll be doing the TR convention until Thursday the 24th and then we're spending an extra 2 1/2 days doing our own thing. I think we may go to Disney World or Sea World or both and of course some shopping. Also Adam's sister recently moved down there and so we're going to meet up with her and partay! I'm excited. It should be lots of fun! Yeah! If you have any desire at all as to what I'm doing, you can check out this link.
Also, last weekend my SWEET hubby decided to surprise me with a weekend getaway. We really hadn't gone on just a one on one date since December, so we got a hotel and my parents watched our kids and Adam and I spent Saturday and some of Sunday together, just the two of us. Yes, we only went to Idaho Falls, but I don't care! A mini-getaway is nice no matter where it's at. We ate at Olive Garden that night and when the host was sitting us he asked me if we were celebrating anything. I said, "Just being kid free!" He just laughed. It's just SO MUCH more relaxing to go and eat and not have to worry about Mieley throwing a noodle across the room to a stranger's plate or Adalyn spilling her drink, or anything! Ahh, I love it!

April Fools!
April Fools to you all! I've been trying to come up with a couple good tricks to play on an unsuspecting husband, kids, in-laws, neighbors, etc, but haven't been clever enough to come up with one yet. I did wake up with pink eye yesterday (have NO idea where THAT came from) so I guess the joke's really on me. SO instead I'll leave you with my all time favorite April fools joke that Adam and I played on his family.
Flashback to 2004: Adam's parents have always been pranksters. They always have, they always will be. Well Adam's mom, dad, little brother, and 2 little sisters all went to New Zealand on vacation. Adam and I decided it was long overdue that we play a joke on them, and there's no better time to do it than when they're gone for few days and a house is left empty! So we got something like a bazillion small (like the 2 oz size) dixie cups and I spent a whole day stapling the things together. (This was all before we had kids so I had plenty time in the day to do things like this.) Then Adam and I went to their house, and finished stapling all the dixie cups together in BOTH their bathrooms. (The pictures only show somewhat of the finished prank.) Then after all the cups were stapled we took a pitcher and filled probably 80% of them with water. Now what's the first place you want to hit when you get home from vacation??. . .the bathroom! The funny part was (for Adam and I atleast) that those tiny dixie cups are so flimsy that when you try to lift them up they just spill the water everywhere! Poor guys couldn't even use the bathroom! I guess they ended up just dumping the water everywhere and having to mop it up. If you ask them, this wasn't so hilarious. . if you ask me or Adam it was COMPLETELY HILARIOUS! So now you all have a good joke to play on someone. . just better not ever be me!!!
