Ballet Class

After months of watching Bridgette through the window, Penny finally got to have her very own ballet class (with Mom).  She absolutely loved it and was a great listener. This was on her first day.  She was so excited, she asked to dress into her leotard at 7:30 am!
Here are both girls when they asked for buns.  They were way too cute!  After I took this picture, I was shocked at their height difference- Bridgette has grown so much these last few months!
Since Penny's class was "Princess Ballet", there was a special visitor on her last day- Sleeping Beauty!  She was so shy and was scared to dance with her.  She did go up and take her award from her however.
 And semi-smile, haha!
This is her little class.  She took it with her two friends- Rachel King and Stella Morris.
With our favorite teacher, Miss Brittany, who has taught Bridgette for 2 years now!  We will miss her.

The Ritz

Immediately after we got back from Lake Tahoe, Tyler, Harrison and I went down to Dana Point to stay at the Ritz-Carlton.  Tyler submitted a research paper to the California Orthopedic Association for their conference.  He won one of four resident awards and got to present his paper at the conference.  The COA paid for his hotel room, so Harrison and I tagged along for the beach and awesome food!  Tyler's parents came to watch the girls for us.

I can't believe how easy and relaxing it is to just have one baby!  Harrison was the best baby, my perfect tag-along.
Harry at the Ritz!
He even got to play in the giant tub for as long as he wanted, which NEVER happens at home!

Hanging out at the beach.
We snuck in to watch Tyler do his presentation: Effect of wrist and finger loading and thumb position on scaphoid fracture displacement: a biomechanical study. It was way over my head, but he did a great job.
One night the dinner was an awesome taco bar and the next night was a surf and turf.  We got to get dressed up and enjoyed chatting with some other doctors and wives at dinner.  The food was amazing!
You can tell we were amateurs at the photo booth!
Beautiful view from the hotel.
We loved getting some much needed time away without kids!
