Ali's first day in the 5th grade

Ali started the Fifth grade this week.  I can't believe I have a daughter that old, but I do and we truly love and enjoy her.  She is a really good big sister and a beautiful daughter.  I hope she can stay this way.  

Simonson reunion

We love summer and boating.  We especially love Dworshak, a reservoir about 1 and 1/2 hours away from our house.  This year all of my siblings and parents decided they wanted to join in on the Dworshak fun.  So we turned it into a family reunion and all my family made the trek up north and we played for a week on the water!  Here are a ton of pictures of my family and all of the fun things we did.

After the fun on the water my Dad loves to go blackberry picking.  So we went and picked a ton of blackberries and then made a lot of jam out of them.

Getaway

My mom took the 2 kids home with her for 3 weeks of their summer.  They are having the time of their lives and Danny and I decided to make the most of having no kids.  Danny had a 3 day weekend so we decided to head up to Sandpoint.

We decided to splurge and stay at the lodge on Schweitzer Mountain.  It was beautiful and right on the ski hill.

One day we decided to take a little hike on the ski hill to see the beautiful scenery.

The next day we decided to take the easy way up the mountain.

 

Some toys

We got a couple new toys for the summer so the kids wouldn't be so bored.  One of the two may or may not have only lasted less than a month when it blew down the street into our neighbors house this weekend.  This is the only picture I got of the trampoline, it definitely wasn't worth the money for only a couple weeks.  I guess we learned our lesson.

Memorial Day Weekend

We wanted to go on a little getaway for Memorial Day.  So we decided to head up to Couer d'Alene to see our friends.  First Danny had to get a bike ride in and then he was kind enough to take me on a little ride.  It wasn't little for me, I am a little out of shape and nearly puked going up, but it was worth it to going down!

We had the next day Danny had off so we decided to take the kids up to Silverwood for the day.  It was a little cold, but the kids had a blast and didn't have to stand in any lines!
