Christmas & Happy New Year

The year 2011. Boom! In many ways, Mike and I are glad it is over and we are ready to welcome 2012. We have taken our share of the good and bad this year, we have had our ups and downs but we survived. Here are some highlights:

Tina - In April, I actually got braces and feel like I am living the teenage dream. In July, we were able to take a vacation to Montana where I showed Mike all the sweet places I played as a kid.

Mike - It has been 2 years since Mike's testicular cancer was removed and we are happy that no cancer markers have been found in his blood since then. In September, Mike was promoted and is now the Clinic Manager of MVP Physical Therapy in Puyallup. He enjoys it and we are hoping to move into our first home in Puyallup this month.

Alyssa - Alyssa is still a little diva and gives us a run for our money. But we wouldn't trade her for anything. She adores Elmo, coloring, running, jumping, reading and talking all day long. She also gives the best hugs and kisses. We are excited for her to turn 2 at the end of January.

Have a great 2012!

Pumpkin Patch - Schilter Family Farm

Headed to the good o'le pumpkin patch with the fam. It was actually a beautiful sunny day.

Mike the scarecrow.

Hay Ride.

Lost in the corn maze. How many people does it take to get out?

Alyssa the scarecrow.

Cow train.

Choo...Choo or rather Moo...Moo

Petting zoo. Mike has to do all of this with Alyssa as I am terrified of all animals (blame my parents for that one).

Finally

Alyssa is finally walking. It took her a year and a half but better late than never. And don't forget she is an absolute diva.

Tacoma Rainier's Game

Went to my Dad's Transalta work party at the baseball game. It was awesome! We ate well and both Mike and my brother Randy got foul balls. And they both jumped around like crazies when they got them. I actually couldn't stop laughing when my brother got his because he got down on his belly and was wiggling around like a snake to get it. Felt good to laugh that hard. Here are some pics of the good times.

Meeting Santa and Christmas

Santa made a personal visit to our house this year. Of course, my cute little monster was not having any of it. She was pretty funny on Christmas though. She keep saying "ooooh" when she opened her presents.
What the flip is this Mom?

Making her scream in Santa's ear.

She is loving Santa!

Santa brought a Baby Doll.

That's right. This baby is mine!
