The house building has begun!! Finally it has actually started, foundation is in process and it won't be long before I can see a house forming! We are excited, the countdown has begun. So that is where we are at, hoping for end of Feb we shall see!

Hi Kelly! I actually use a Pentax IST-D...which is an SLR. If you are serious about getting into the biz, I would definitely get an SLR where you can shoot in all manual mode. Pentax is ok, but if you have the money I would definitely go with a Nikon. They are a little more "grainy" but if you know how to use it they produce the best quality pictures. If you are worried about being manual and want to begin with something less expensive, I would go with a Canon. You can't really go wrong with a Canon. :) They even have nice ones at Costco at times.
