Doc Appointment

Morgan went to her doctor appointment on September 7th to get her shots and measurements etc..so I thought I would update everyone, she was 27 inches long and 14.7 lbs, she came up in the 89th % for height and 25th % for weight so she is just as we thought...long and skinny just like her Daddy.

Madhatter Cake

This is Geoff's wedding cake, kinda sums him up..and Chelsea this one is for you cuz I know you will appreciate it since you are into the cake thing these days!

Fav Cousins Wedding

My cousin Geoff got married in August on Trevor's b-day and we got to go!! This is how cute Morgan was that day!! In the last pic, Morgan was doing her famous
raspberry

Great Grammy Hull

This is my mom's mom..Shirley Hull!! It was so fun to go back to NY, I haven't been back to see the fam there for probably at least 7years, I am so glad she got to see Morgan!!

NY trip

When we went home in August we also went to NY to visit family, go to a cousins wedding and we went to old house that one of our ancestors built and it is a historical landmark now and upstate NY and is in the process of being restored, it was pretty cool to go into, this is where the pic was taken! It is called the Hull House, it is my mom's dad's side of the family.

Aunty Kenz and Morgan

Morgan has really enjoyed spending time with Aunty Kenz, Kenzie has been her nanny for the last couple of months while I have been working part time at US bank. She is pretty much her second mom! They have a lotta laughs together!

Conroversial Earpiercing

Trevor and I talked about getting Morgan's ears pierced before she was born and what our thoughts about that were. We know around here that a lot of Mexicans tend to get their babies ears pierced and not so much the white crowd..but that may be because we are the minority where we live here in the Yakima area. So that is part of why some people don't like it amongst other reasons. Well, I have always thought it is really cute for little girls to get their ears pierced so on July 9th I ventured to Claire's boutique(where I myself many years ago got my ears pierced)and bravely got Morgan's ears pierced with some cute little diamond studs. Yes, some of you may disagree with that decision but hey I guess my freedom to choose is more important than hers..I know she will love it and the great thing is she will never even remember it although she also won't be able to get that sucker that always follows on an event like that! Don't worry I will gladly supply her with a sucker of her own one day!

Homecoming Day

Today, Tues. June 26th I went with my sister Kenzie and Morgan to pick up Mike and Shirley from the Pasco airport after serving a year as missionaries in Kona, Hawaii!! What a sacrifice right? It was great to see them again and for them to meet Morgan for the first time, they were thrilled to say the least, especially Grandma Shirley! We also got to see some other family that was there to see Mike and Shirley. Aunt Bev, cousin Cindy and her kids, and Adrianne and her kids were there. It was a pretty exciting day, they were pretty worn out after traveling all night long to get home. They are glad to be back!

Movin On..July 4th

Trevor, me, Morgan and my sis Kenzie spent the 4th of July in Olympia and surrounding areas searching out a new place to live. As you guys know Trevor is working in Olympia now for at least the next 8mnths at minimum so we gotta get a house! Well we looked around Lacey, Tumwater, and Olympia and everything is pretty pricey, but we found a townhouse in Lacey where another one of Trevor's fellow troopers are living now. We checked them out and seem pretty nice. There is a place across the street for the dogs to run and do their "business" if ya know what I mean! Also it is pretty cool cuz across a different street there is the LDS church where we could walk to, but who does that? probably not us...so we are pretty much set and will start to move some of our things this upcoming weekend. I will be working at my current job until the end of July and then I am going to concentrate on being a full time Mom, at least for a little while. In our home searching that day we managed to get a nap in near the state capitol on the lawn..it was really hot that day so it didn't last long and neither did Morgan...she kept pulling my hair and I guess that was her way of telling me it was time to go, so before we left we managed to get a quick family pic in!

Trooper Trevy

Trevor is now what is called a "Trooper Cadet" armed with a gun and all..so watch out!! He starts his field training now in Olympia at the state trooper headquarters with his trooper friend Trooper Boyer. They used to be roommates in training and really had a fun time together so it is really cool they get to work together there. Trevor's mom hemmed his pants for his and such so Trevor wanted to get all dressed up today July 8th, so we could all see his offical uniform! Does he look serious or what? I can tell you I would love to get pulled over by him any day...although knowing Trevor he would probably give me a ticket anyway!!

Big Daddy

Well this was Trevor's first Father's Day! Him and Morgan are so adorable together I can barely stand it sometimes. I wanted to get a pic of all of us but that didn't happen. Trevor is such a proud daddy, ever since Morgan was born and we have been taking her to church he always has to be the one to carry her inside to show her off..of course he probably wouldn't admit that but I know it's true! It is so fun to watch them interact and communicate with each other. It is awesome to see the man I love look at our little girl with that special kind of love that a daddy has for his child! I have truly been blessed!

On the Move

Well we are moving on to Olympia Wa!! Yeah, I can't believe it either! Trev is just finishing up his 1st trooper class, the arming class, which ends in about 2wks which is when we are supposed to be moving. He will be assigned to the trooper headquarters next to the state capitol. He is excited about that part of it, but not the whole moving thing. Well just when life gets comfortable, it is time for a change! I will keep everyone updated as things start to change.

Morgan Update

So Morgan is going through this little "thing" where she likes to cry for a long time when I put her down for bedtime...like right now! So I decided I would distract myself and write about it to see if she calms down while I am busy..yeah..still crying. I guess she has gotten used to all the wonderful attention she gets from Mom, Dad, and Auntie Kenzie. She really loves to be cuddled and held. It is really funny cuz when she is tired and trying to fall asleep she has this other thing she does where she scratches at my skin kinda like a kitten does with her paws. She also likes it when I put my hand over her face, which my sister tells me is odd. All in all she is an awesome baby and we all love her to pieces!! I would just go pick her up right now but I know in the end this is the best for her....still crying. Well that is what is going on with Morgan right now, more pics to come soon!

The Academy

Well, Trevor is now starting his second week in the WA State Patrol in Olympia, he started last Tuesday May 22nd for the beginning of orientation. He said they feed him breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is really odd for my lovely husband who's breakfast consists of mountain dew and either a chili cheese dog, burrito or corndog. He is doing very well to say the least. This first 7wks is called the "Arming Class" and he will be learning about self-defense, guns, driving, physical training, nutrition etc. He is very excited to be there and can't wait to get out and do more and more. It is military style at the academy but Trevor said it isn't as bad as he thought it might be and I am kinda looking forward to someone getting in trouble there so I can hear all about it, but so far no stories. Trevor is really loving his new job so far, I will keep you guys posted as new things happen at "The Academy"!
