Disneyland & Legoland
Since getting our annual passes in March, we have been to Disneyland at least once every week! We have had so much fun taking the kids and meeting up with Grandma & Grandma Salmon and our cousins there. Last week we happened see Mickey and Minnie down in the corner by Space Mountain, no one had noticed them and there was no line to get pictures!!!! Woohoo! Julia gave Minnie a huge hug and they sat there embracing for probably a full 10 seconds. It was so cute that Minnie motioned to us not to leave before she could get her own picture with Julia.
Our friends, the Swarts, invited us to go to Legoland last weekend. It was blazing hot, but we couldn't resist free tickets. We were amazed at all the Lego creations; they are absolutely incredible! They have a huge water area. The kids (and Darin... he thinks he's still a kid :) ) changed into their suits and we hung out there for hours. Thank you Swart family for treating us to a very fun day!

Little Love Bug
Today Lauren (aka our "Little Love Bug", "Princess", "Baby Girl"& "Sweetheart") turned 3 months old! How is it that 3 months during pregnancy seems like FOREVER, but these past 3 months couldn't have flown by faster?
Lauren is laughing now and will laugh when Darin tickles her arm or kisses her neck. Every now and then one of us will be holding her and she will suddenly start laughing at one of her brothers or her sister. She is already so entertained by them! Just this week she started curling up in a little ball and rolling onto her side. It won't be long until she makes it all the way over onto her tummy! I'm starting to put away the newborn clothes and dress her in the 3-6 month sizes. Her hair is growing in a beautiful brown color and her eyes are still a deep dark blue.
These have truly been the very best months of my life. They have made my heart wish that I could freeze time so my kids couldn't grow up so fast. I am enjoying them all so much! I love watching Lauren sleep in my arms, smelling her sweet baby smell and stroking her soft fuzzy head. My heart is full to overflowing with love and happiness for this sweet baby girl. There aren't words to fully express the level of emotion I feel as a Mother. I have more than I ever dreamed of. Lauren has brought so much love into our lives. I love you Lauren!

Father/Son & Girls Night Out
Friday, Darin and the boys went on the Father & Son Outing with our ward. They camped, played baseball, collected bugs, sticks, etc and had a great time together. I am always so busy now-a-days, usually playing catch-up and just trying to stay on top of everything that I didn't even take time to think about what the girls and I would do while the boys were gone. Last minute I decided we would go to the mall. This may sound like no big deal, but I haven't really had the opportunity to get out much. Having a newborn is so demanding with naps and feeding schedules that it is almost impossible to go anywhere. I only leave when I have to. Even grocery shopping is precisely scheduled so that I can zip through the store in as little time as possible, not that I have much time to work with anyway!
So I thought it was funny when I told Julia we were going to the mall, that she had no idea what I was talking about. When I explained that we were going "shopping" she said "oh, to Walmart!" I guess that is the only place we usually go. I tried to describe the mall the the best I could, and she was happy that we were going "shopping". She quickly decided we should buy her a pair of sunglasses "like Capri's". She ended up picking a pair of pink princess sunglasses. I was contemplating the idea of piercing Lauren's ears, but totally chickened out. She was being so good, awake and happy, that it didn't seem right to put her through the pain and have her upset and crying... it would've ruined our whole "mall adventure"! We had a fun time shopping, I found some good deals and enjoyed being out with my girls. When we got home, Julia asked if I would lay on the floor with her and watch "The Bee Movie". I realized that I never take the time to lay on the floor with her and watch an entire movie. She was thrilled and I enjoyed doing something so simple that made her so happy!
Julia found this gigantic teddy bear in one of the stores. I turned around to find her all wrapped up in it's arms like this and she said "take my picture Mommy!"
This weekend Lauren noticed the toys dangling from her activity mat for the first time. She is so entertained by the smiling faces of the bee and turtle and will smile and coo at them. I can't believe how fast time is going and how quickly she is changing.
