First Day of School 2011

The time has come once again to start another school year! This year my sweet Ava will be in the 1st grade and my sweet Mia will be going to pre-k 3 for the full day. We are very excited about this school year, the new friends and all that the girls will be learning! Here are some photos of the girls heading to school and of their classrooms. Enjoy!

Lollipops!

I gave out large lollipops as party favors for E's birthday to all of the "big" kids. The girls were so very excited to eat theirs! Who can resist lollipop photos? So, of course I got some cute pictures. Enjoy!

Birthday Boy!

Our little man turned ONE on 7/5! It is hard to believe that he is already a year old. This year has been an adventure for our whole family with the addition of a little boy and we have enjoyed every minute of it!
Elijah is saying many words and doing too many signs to list. His words include: dada, mama, dog, cruck (truck), go, clock, boop (book), no-no, up, hi, hat, ball and mum-mum (one of his snacks). At his one-year check up, Elijah weighed 25.2 lbs and measured 31.5" tall. He is a BIG boy!
Here are some photos of Elijah on his actual birthday and some from his party the following weekend. Enjoy!

First Fourth of July...

Last year, the girls were terribly disappointed that they were unable to watch the fireworks display. I had one thing and one thing only on my mind.....delivering a baby boy the very next morning.  This year we decided it would be too much for Elijah to stay up late for the fireworks, but we couldn't disappoint the girls two years in a row. Peter took them to Ocean Springs to watch their show on the third and that worked out perfectly since Peter would be out of town on the actual fourth.  Here are a few "Red, White & Blue" photos of all three kids. Enjoy!
