We love the Zoo!

Landon loves going to the Zoo! We got a membership this year and have used it! I'm sure you can tell due to the amount of posts that are pics from the zoo :) Landon is just fascinated by the animals and loves to watch them. It's nice going in the winter because a ton of the anilmals are a lot more active or inside where you can actually see them. It was pretty cold, so we didn't stay too long, that was the down side :(

This was the first time we've ever seen the tiger do anything besides sleep in the shade :)

Just throwing this out there...

So I think it would be SO MUCH FUN, if some how a huge date night was planned. I think it would be a riot to just post a date, place, and time and just post it to everyone's blogs and say whoever can come, meet us there :) I know there is a place called Toads that has go carts and laser tag and all sorts of stuff that would be a blast with a big group of people. So... if you also think this sounds like fun, leave me a comment and if I ever am able to plan it, I will leave you a comment on your blog with the info :)

Sorry!!

Here's a quick explanation and a sorry (before we start getting death threats :) ) to all of our many friends out there who are in the real estate/mortgage business. Ever since friends have learned we put our house up for sale we have gotten the sense of some "geez thanks" from friends that we didn't go through. You're not alone!! We decided not to go through anyone we knew, because we just knew too many people in the business and it wasn't fair to narrow it down and choose just one. So SORRY :( but that's why we didn't go through any of our friends. We still love you all!!

Craziness!!

So I know I haven't posted anything for awhile, but life has just been so CRAZY lately! Many of you probably have no idea, but our house is up for sale. We aren't moving far just looking in the area for a house with a yard and a little more space. I don't recommend trying to sell your house with a crazy 2 yr old running around wild. I swear all I do all day is pick up after him and clean just in case I get the call from my realtor that someone is coming to see the house in a half hour (that's usually all the notice you get :) So I promise I will start posting again here soon!!

Our Christmas (Finally)

Our Christmas always starts out every year on Christmas Eve. We always go up to the Sawyer's and have Chinese food, play games, and open presents. Beckie and I decided to start a new tradition this year :) We are going to find the ugliest Christmas sweater possible and Kathy has to wear it all Christmas Eve :) This year we started looking a little late and everything was picked over, but Walmart never lets you down (sorry if anyone out there owns this sweater :) ) This wasn't too bad, just don't know what's up with the birds :)

All the grandkids got to open a present on Christmas Eve.

All the kids got a pair of Christmas Pajamas. They all looked so cute and then Hannah and Livie put on a little christmas program for us. They sang some songs for us, and we got to do the echos on Rudolph the Red-nose Reindeer :)

Christmas Morning: this year we kept things pretty low-key with Landon's b-day right before Christmas. He got this tool bench and some tools. He was so funny coming downstairs in the morning. He just looked at the tool bench and then at me and Adam like "can I play with it?" It was so fun this year with Landon actually understanding the concept of presents :)

I had to work in the afternoon on Christmas, but Adam and Landon went around with his parents to visit the rest of his family. Then we went over to my mom's house and had Christmas dinner and spent time with my side of the family. I was a dork and forgot my camera, that's why there are no pics. Sorry my fam, we still love ya :)
