FHE at the Sistrunks

Toni and Cal Sistrunk invited us over to their house to have dinner and ride their horses for FHE. The girls could hardly stand the excitment and asked me every day for about a week how much longer it was going to be. Toni made a great dinner and the girls had a blast with Cal riding the horses. Cal said anythime that Kai want to come ride she is more than welcome that she was a natural! We had a great time! Thanks Toni and Cal for inviting us over to your beautiful home!

Student of the Month

KaiLee received Student of the month for March. One student is picked from each class and then is recognized at the flag ceremony. We are so proud of her! She is doing great ans school. I can't believe that she is going to be in middle school next year!! She is excited and I am scared!

Trimester Awards

MaKayla was recognized in the Trimester awards for being a "Standards Master". This means that she received all 3 and 4's on her report card. She loves school and really adores her teacher Mrs. Pitts.

MaKayla's Baptism

I can't believe that MaKayla turned 8 already. She was really looking forward to the day till she could get baptized. She was baptized in March. All of our friends and family were in attendance and she looked so cute. My mom made her dress and she could hardly wait to wear it. My brother Jeff baptized her and my brother in law Brian confirmed her. She had to be dunked 3 times because her dress kept coming up. We told her that she was extra clean then. She thought that, that was pretty neat. After the baptism we cam back to our house for dinner. Thanks to all that were in attendance and made MaKayla's day extra special!!!

February Birthdays.....

February is a busy month at our house there are 3 of us that have birthdays. MaKayla is on the 1st. KaiLee is on the 5th and mine is on the 18th. This year MaKay wanted to go to paint a memory she invited a couple of friends and they had a blast. We went to Costco before and had hot dogs an pizza. Our family tradition for birthdays is that you can pick any meal to have on your birthday. She picked spaghetti and meatballs. I got a great recipe from Gregg Fry. She loved it! KaiLee wanted to go to glow in the dark mini golf it was a blast and her and her friends had a great time. We had to celebrate Kais birthday a little late this year. She was at 5th grade science camp with her school. It was freezing up there. I will post some pictures of that later. She really wanted a new bike. She got this one and loves riding it!

January Family Activity

For our family activity we decided to take the girls to the Queen Mary. For the whole month of January they were offering free admission. We thought that it would be a fun experience. After we toured the Queen Mary we went over to Seaport Village. My grandma and grandpa would always take us there when we came to visit them from Utah. We had a great time!
