Pumpkins, Pumpkins & More Pumpkins!

Last week we went to a local pumpkin patch for playgroup. Jayda had lots of fun picking out her own pumpkins. She even brought her own money to buy them with! Sydney on the other hand was not too sure about the pumpkins. She seemed rather uncomfortable when I would put her down near them, but didn't cry. She just was not a big fan!

Jayda picking out her very own little pumpkins!

Jayda doing her fake smile for mommy so she can go play in the pumpkin patch! Hey, at least I got a picture!

Sydney's first time to get down by the pumpkins. "Mommy I don't think I like this very much!"

Sweet little Sydney surronded by lots of pumpkins! As you can tell, she is not too sure!

Say cheeeeeeese girls!

Best buddies together in the pumpkin patch!

"One last picture Jayda, I promise"

The other day Jayda and Riley were playing in Sydney's room, in the dark. Jayda got a new flashlight and thinks it's really fun to play with it in the dark. So, the girls were playing with Sydney in her room. They would call her and shew would come crawling over to them. They all thought it was such a fun game! Sydney always wants to be wherever the girls are!

Sydney loves this little singing book toy! She plays with it all the time!

It makes her so happy!

She even dances and sings along with it!

Jayda and I went to a Fall Festival at Riley's church last weekend. The girls both wore their costumes for the first time. Jayda was a go-go girl and Riley is Aerial!

Putting her hand in to touch the "creepy crawlers" at trunk or treat!

Last sunday we all carved a pumpkin together. Jayda was so excited and ready to do it!

And she got the top off!

Once again, Sydney does not like the pumpkin! This time she really wanted nothing to do with it!

Jayda's pretty little pumpkin that we carved!

Jayda and Sydney all dressed up in their halloween costumes for our playgroup halloween party at the house.

Check out the go-go girl!

Jayda standing in the entry way before the party. It's like all you can see is hair!!

All ready for pre-school this morning. They were celebrating halloween todat at school!

Turning over her name/picture card this morning when she got to class. This is to help them recognize what their name looks like.

Starting out the day with a little coloring!

Jayda in her costume at school!

Jayda's pre-school class all dressed up for Halloween!

*Just Added! I took some pictures of the girls in their halloween outfits in the front yard this afternoon. It is impossible to get both of the girls to look at the camera and both smile at the same time. So, taking that into consideration I think we got some cute ones!

Lots Going On...Continued!

Well I'm going to try this post again and see how far I can get! I have tons of pictures I want to put up so that I don't forget anything, so this may be quite a long post...of pictures! I forgot to mention that the same day Sydney started crawling, at 7 1/2 months, she also got her ears pierced! We had to go into the Dr.'s office for a follow up appointment and while we were there I decided it was time for her to get earrings like her big sis! Her doctor did it, so I felt pretty comfortable with everything. Sydney of course did not like it, not one bit, but she was a trooper and was fine after just a minute or two!

Jayda took a picture of me and Sydney at the Dr.'s office right after she got her ears pierced. I'll spare you the picture of the nurse holding her down while she screamed bloody murder! No, it's not reallly that bad. Think she disliked being held down more than the actually piercing!

These pictures are some more that I took at playgroup a few weeks ago at "A Bunch of Fun"! Like I said in the last post this was the first playgroup that Sydney actually participated in, instead of just watching big sis. So, it was a pretty big deal for us!

Sydney playing at playgroup with her little buddy Aaron.

Chewing on her strawberry toy that she loves!

Jayda doing the parachute game at playgroup.

Sydney sitting on her very own carpet square at her very first music class!

Sweet sisters in music class together!

Sisters playing in the tent together! Jayda LOVES for Sydney to get in her tent. Sydney could care less, but Jayda thinks it is the coolest thing!

A couple of weeks before Justin and Lourdes' wedding Jacob and I thew them bachelor and bachelorette parties. I don't have any pics from the boys party, but I did get a few of the girls party!

All of the girls, minus me, dressed up and ready to go to dinner!

It's Limo time ladies!!!

Me and the beautiful bachelorette, yay for my new sister in law!

Next are pictures of some random things that the girls have been doing lately. In no particular order...

Jayda met a puppy at the ice cream social at her school recently. She kept wanting to hold her over and over. Jayda loves little dogs, especially if they will let her hold them!

This was Sydney trying meats for the first time! She was just shy of 8 months, beginning of October. She liked it alright the first time I tried her, but not so much after that. Some new foods she does like are baby food mac n cheese, chicken noodle, and turkey and rice.

Look at that sweet girl sitting up all by herself!

We went for a saturday morning bike ride a few weekends ago. This was Sydney's first time out in the bike trailer. Jayda had a blast, but Sydney was not a big fan. Not sure if she didn't like it because she was scared, too hot, or because big sis was squeezing her the whole time.

This was the first time Sydney started crawling around the house to find us! No more putting her down and letting her play quietly with her toys, oh no! She wants to be wherever we are and comes to find us right away! It is SO cute!

On October 9th our neighborhood had a Harvest Festival. This is always a fun event for the kiddos so we took the girls out to it and met Riley. Jayda loved the petting zoo, riding the camel, bouncing in the bounce house and getting her face painted!

Silly girls sliding down the inflatable slide together.

Jayda made a Thanksging picture frame at Harvest Fest!

Little Sydney watching Jayda's every move out at the park, as usual! She loves her big sister!

Riding the camel with daddy, so fun!

Jayda loves animals, so she loved petting the llama!

Jayda and Riley riding in the back of the truck toghether, and showing off their face paintings.

Sydney turned 8 months old on October 11th! I can not even believe she is already 8 months! My little baby is getting so big! She is crawling around all over the place, and can't stand to be left alone. She is a major wiggle worm and will hardly let you hold her, for more than a minute or so. Unless, you are continuously walking around then she'll hang on for the ride so she can see what is going on. She is so curious and loves to observe! I've been sitting her by the window in the playroom lately and she loves to watch outside and see what's going on. As long as she has a toy to chew on, she will stay there for a while and just watch everything. She still has the sweetest little personality and is very laid back. Sydney absolutely loves Jayda and wants to play with her all the time. And, Jayda loves Sydney more than anything! It is so sweet to see their love for one another! Sydney is weighing around 18 pounds right now, wears 9 months size clothes, and a size 2 diaper. She still only has 2 bottom teeth. I am waiting for the next ones to come in any day. She constantly has to have something in her mouth to chew on!

Sweet Sydney at 8 Months, October 11th, 2010!

Such a sweet picture!

Happy Sydney!

She was so excited to get her favorite toy!

Thought this was a cute picture too! Sydney pulls her bows off almost as soon as I get them on her little head! That was the hardest thing about taking these pictures. She wouldn't leave her bow in, for even 5 seconds at a time!!

Smile girlies!

Jayda wants/tries to hold Sydney all the time and this is usually the outcome.

Jayda wanted mommy to take her picture too, since Sydney was getting hers taken! Jayda is 3 years old, plus a few months in this pic. Doesn't she look so grown up?!

Sweet Jayda looking so big! Love this little dress on her!

Sydney crawled up on top of the bumbo the other day to get inside of the diaper box. She loves playing with the diapers! I caught her red handed and had to get my camera!

We had rehearsal and rehearsal dinner last friday for Justin and Lourdes' wedding. Rehearsal was at Kingwood Christian Church and then dinner was at Los Cucos mexican restaraunt in Kingwood afterwards.

Justin and Lourdes at their rehearsal dinner. So excited to be getting married!

Greg and Lauren at rehearsal dinner. So happy that our bestest friends were able to come down for the wedding! They helped us SO much throughout the weekend with the girls! Seriously don't know what we would of done without them! Not to mention we had a GREAT time hanging out with our buddies that we rarely get to see! We love you guys SO much and are SO thankful y'all came for the wedding!

Family pic, minus one at dinner!

Jayda at rehearsal dinner with her froggy balloon she had made!

Attempt #5 at a family picture, and that's the best we got! Just too much going on!

The only half way good picture I got of the girls that night in their matching outfits. They both looked so cute!

Justin and Lourdes' wedding was last Saturday, October 16th! We love them both so much and are so happy for them! The wedding turned out beautiful and we can not be more excited for Justin and Lourdes!

Jayda getting her hair done at the hair salon earlier on saturday! She thought she was such a big girl to get her hair done.

Me and my mom with Sydney just before the wedding got started!

The prettiest little flower girl ever! Jayda was SO excited to be a flower girl in Justin and Lourdes' wedding!

Me surronded by a bunch of little girly girls all dressed up and wanting to dance on the dance floor so bad!

Eating the cake, yum!!

Ok, that is all I have time for today, whew! Had a lot of catching up to do! I'll be putting up some adorable pumpkin patch & pumpkin carving pics soon!
