Wow, so much has happened in the last week!
1st: Christopher had his First "Friend" party ever!
My big boy turned 5 last Friday the 13th!!
I am VERY PROUD of myself!! This the 1st Birthday cake that I have made that didn't end up in the garbage!! Yeah!!! Now you cake experts out there don't judge! I know it's sunken and not the smoothest but hey I'm just glad it was edible!!

The evening of Christopher's Birthday my Beloved Grandpa Johnson passed away suddenly. It was hard to keep it together the rest of the evening but I knew I had to be strong for my son. I didn't want his birthday to be anything but absolute JOY!
Grandpa passed away holding one of his grandchildren. In fact the picture reflects exactly how he passed away. His FAMILY was his LIFE and I mainly kept up my blog because I knew that he looked at it EVERY day. The funeral was beautiful and I will miss him dearly! Even at Christopher's young age he's understood what's happened and will miss him dearly! I'm so greatful that I am blessed to still have my Grandparents around and my children get to know their GREAT Grandparents!!
So the Funeral was Yesterday and Today we Celebrate AGAIN!!
