Lagoon Day

Friday we got to take the boys to Lagoon for the first time. Thanks Stacy for the tickets!! We spent a few hours at Lagoon-A-Beach but the fun didn't really start until we hit the rides. Of course we had to go on the Train first. The boys were so excited and they had no idea that animals were involved.

They were so excited and the train hadn't even started yet. Here's Mason with his baseball hat that Billy won for him playing "Fast Ball" . He pitched the ball at 68mph!! Winning a big prize "the hat" and then talked them into 2 hats since we have 2 boys. Way to work it!!Little did we know when we started the Train ride that it was going to be educational and teach about the "birds and the bees" , well at least we learned that the ostriches like to play leap frog, but they weren't very good at jumping.

Here's Billy and the boys on the Merry-Go-Round. Wow, it's been ages since I have been on one of those . I thought I was gonna fall over.Later in the day we met up with Mike and Tai and their beautiful girls. The boys have an absolute blast with their girls and they're all so close in age. It's so nice. Here's Mike with his second oldest, McKenzie. I have to wonder if he's a good influence...(see next pic)
I really need to add "fangs" in that pic, anyone know photoshop?
I have to say Mike..."What a Poser! You sure he's straight Tai?"

All in All we had an awesome time. While Billy and Mike stood in line for the "Odysea", Tai and I got to take off and take the kids on the "Tilt a Whirl" and "Scrambler". Mason and Christopher had such a blast on those rides as the speed smashed us all together. Next time we'll have to get pics on those rides. We scored with the tickets Stacy gave us because we get to "bounce back" for $8. Thanks Again Stacy!!

T-Ball Rocks!!

This is Christopher's last T-Ball Game. It was a hoot watching them play out there. Good thing there's no outs in T-Ball! :) We had quite the last game. Christopher and his cousin were not getting along. They were fighting over who got to bat first. Pushing and shoving each other whether standing or in chairs. The didn't stop through most of the game. Then another boy on the team tried to take the batting helmet from Christopher and tackled him to the ground doing so. And then the last inning a little girl on the team started grabbing Billy's butt next thing he knew the whole team of 4yr olds was pinching and grabbing his bum. A little unnerving for him!! So it was quite a memorable last game. After that game I'm glad it's over. But I can't wait till next year!!!

This is how he wore his hat. Pulled down so far that he had to kink his neck looking up just to see.

Here's Christopher getting ready to hit with the help of his coach.
Hey batter, batter...

SWING!!!
Here's Chris with his medal and his coach. Yes, that is Billy. He had so much fun coaching Chris's T-Ball Team.
The best part of T-Ball is the treats at the end of every game!!

Makenna's 1st Taste of Rice Cereal!

We tried Rice Cereal tonight. Here's how it went.

Ok, Here comes the first taste...

Make sure you lick the spoon clean...
Hmmm, do I like it?
YES I DO!!!

Makenna LOVED her first taste of Rice Cereal. She ate the whole bowl and I thought I had made too much at first. Hopefully she'll sleep better now. She had her 4 month check up and her Dr. told us to try Rice Cereal at night to try to help her sleep better since she's still a every 2 hour eater and at night that doesn't change a whole lot. Here's hoping!!

A Saturday full of Pics

Today was such a relaxing Saturday. No particular plans to have to rush and do. So I decided to take pics. Tell me what ya think? Which is your favorite? I can't decide which ones to blow up and put in their rooms. Now days it seems like everyone is becoming a photographer. I wonder if I've got the touch. Well at least with my own kids. : )

Sun Bathed Beauty

This last one is so funny! I had told Christopher to go up stairs and get his jammies on. Next thing I know he's coming downstairs in his undies and a tie. lol

BTW- These are taken in our backyard around the pond that Billy built.

Homies Reunited!

This is one of Billy's Best Friends from High School, Mike Smith. He came over with his Family to BBQ. (Yes, we love friends and BBQ's!) It's always so funny to hear their "High School Days" stories and I learn something new about my husband every time. You'd think after 7 years of being married I'd already know about how much trouble he could get into back then. "Oh, the memories" gotta love reminiscing!!
Our kids are pretty close together. Our baby's are 3 days apart. Makenna is older even though she was due a week later. :)
Check out these cuties!

Her 1st White Dress

For all those who have been dying to see Makenna in her blessing gown, here she is! Her blessing was beautiful! Billy must really love his little girl, he gave her the greatest blessing ever that will follow her throughout her life. And yes, he got the pond done! I'll have to post a pic of his great masterpiece. Thank you to all of you who came to Makenna's blessing!! I love seeing how much her family loves her!

Jumping on Board!!

So Today I decided to create a blog. It seems like the thing to do, but who knows how long I'll actually stick with it or if I'll just get so frusterated trying to set it up that I'll end up deleting it here shortly. :) and in case I forget, my inspiration for this blog came from Annie West's cute stories of her kids and the fact that Makenna not only rolled over for the first time today but she's also scooting herself backwards on her back! No more leaving her unattended!! :) The crazy part was I thought I was outsmarting her when she outsmarted me. She was laying on the bed next to me while I was pumping and kept scooting herself backwards so I'd grab her by the leg and pull her back. After about the 4th or 5th time I thought "well I'll just put her on her tummy and then she can't scoot back anymore". Well she proved my wrong! I put her on her tummy and she flipped right over. I even tried it a couple more times and every time she just flipped over as if she knew exactly what she was doing. Leave it to my daughter to prove me wrong and do exactly what I'm trying to get her not to. :) I'm scared for those teenage years!!
