About a year and a half ago my aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. It shook us up because she was only 38, but a few months after her diagnosis I decided to grow my hair out and donate it to locks of love. Finally I chopped it! I was surprised that I was so nervous. My hair had not been that long since high school and it was always on my nerves so I thought it would be easy to get rid of it, but turns out I was a bit attached. I am still getting used to the new do. I have to learn how to do my hair now. Sad that I don't already know how, but I don't. My friend Eryn cut my hair for me and she gave me a quick lesson on teasing. I practiced a little while there and she kept laughing at me because it looked so awkward. It was pretty funny, yet sad! Here is the transformation...

I ended up with about 12in to donate. Brady absolutely LOVES it! So do I.
