7-month's old, Father's Day, Tigard Trip
I suppose we can start with last Wednesday. Tucker had been coughing really bad for about 4 nights, so we decided that we should take him in to get checked. While at the Dr.'s office Tucker was weighed, and I think his weight is slowing down. At his 6-month check-up on May 19th, he weighed 26 lbs. 2 oz., and last Wednesday he weighed 27 lbs. 2.5 oz., a pound in a month is actually slowing down for him. But the Dr. said that his cough should go away soon... hopefully!
Friday Tucker turned...7-MONTHS OLD! My goodness, seriously, he's 7-months old! I can't believe it. He just keeps growing and growing. 7-month old and this is what he does...
His newest trick is that he can wave, and it is so darn cute. I promise I will get a video of it this week and post it. He doesn't wave with his hand, he waves his whole arm, it's hilarious!
* If he wakes up at night, he finds his binki and puts it back into his mouth all by himself... I LOVE THAT!
* He holds his own bottle. He is a master at home, in the car he is still working on holding it high enough.
* He is learning how to pull himself up... NOT a fan of that!
* He is TOTALLY content sitting on the floor and playing with his toys.
* He literally smiles at everyone.
* He will follow us from a distance with his eyes.
* He LOVES to share fudge pops with his Daddy.
* Starting to scoot on his butt a little bit.
* His hair is coming in more now, and it definitely has a red hue to it. I'm OK with that.
Sunday...HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! David was finally able to celebrate Father's Day. All day was all about David, so not much different than any other day. He was able to watch his nascar, and some baseball game I think, and ESPN all day long... after church of course. I made him some delicious cheese cake as well as a yummy dinner. For Father's Day, he got his gift about a month ago. Our receiver has been dying so he got to buy a new receiver that he has been eyeing for awhile. And, with all of his research he got it for over $100 less than any other seller. :) YAY for David! Tucker and I took great care of David, he even got a picture of it... (see pictures below) Hey, we were really tired from the night before. But, I will say that we did take good care of David. He was treated like a KING! He didn't have to change one single diaper!

David’s Mobile
David had a brilliant idea to make a mobile for Tucker. My sister-in-law Tory got Tucker a stuffed animal Duck for my shower in California. Well, seeing as David is obsessed with Oregon State (the Beavers) and their arch-nemesis is University of Oregon (the Ducks) David had to make a statement with this stuffed Duck. Here is the result…
Yes, that is Benny the Beaver hanging the Duck. Now, don’t everyone go worrying that we left the Duck hanging in Tucker’s crib permanently, neither of us would allow a shoelace within choking distance of Tucker. However, David did leave Benny the Beaver attached to the crib to “watch over” Tucker while he sleeps. I love the look on Tucker’s face in this picture, it says to me, “There’s more where that came from!”
WOW! Old School!
Literally, this was taken in my 3rd grade class! Crazy! My Mom now works with my 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Fox. Apparently she still had this picture of me in some of her old teaching files. :) Enjoy!

It’s Been Awhile
My oh my, how the time flies when you are having fun.
Tucker and I flew down to California on June 3rd so we could go to Bryan and Monica’s sealing on June 6th. David met us down there on the 5th so he could go as well. It was SO awesome to be in the temple with all of my brothers and my parents. It’s the first time that we have all been able to be there together. The sealing was amazing, but my favorite part was when Cali came in to be sealed to her parents. She walked in so reverently and acted truly as if she knew exactly what was going on. She is such a special little girl. After the sealing we went to a BBQ at Bryan’s church building and enjoyed the company of good friends and family. It was really a great day.
The whole trip was fun for Tucker and I. My parents LOVED having Tucker around so much. He was in a good mood the whole trip and LOVED playing with all of his cousins, Aunts and Uncles. We look forward to our next trip down there. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later.
We did come home with quite the souvenir this time. I would like to introduce you to…
MY NEW CAR a.k.a. Snob Car
I absolutely love it. We bought this car from my Mom and Dad because my Mom got a SWEET new Nissan Murano. We are SO grateful to my parents for giving us such a good deal. Otherwise we would still be with only 1 car. It is a 2000 Lexus RX300 with leather interior and pretty loaded. I feel like I have SO much freedom now. This car has some sentimental value to me as well. My Mom bought this car when I was on my mission, so this is what they picked me up. However, that is not the sentimental value. Lisa Dent (my best friend) and I would call this the snob car. Anytime we were going anywhere we would always hope that my Mom would let us take the Snob car. At the time I was driving my Mom’s old Camry which, don’t get me wrong, I loved, but it wasn’t a Lexus. And, Lisa was driving a Honda Del Sol, ya we were both kind of like sardines in that car together. :) So we loved it when we got to take the snob car. Now that it is mine, the only thing missing is Lisa… SOOOOO, LISA COME VISIT! :) Tucker loves this car because it is higher off the ground and when I roll his window down, if he stretches enough his little fingers can stick outside the window. We love it so much! THANKS MOM AND DAD!
Tucker got to play with his friend Carson Routsong while we were in town. They were so cute playing together. Here are a few pictures of them.
And, to finish it out, here are some pictures of Tucker playing in grass for the first time. He LOVED it! :)
Oh, a few more pictures that I just found. This is Tucker and Gavin Rudolph playing at our scrapbooking group on Tuesday. They are pretty good buddies! :)
