Christmas Celebration #1 and #2

We are very blessed to have such a wonderful family to spend the holidays with. Our marathon started on Saturday morning with a trip up to Kingwood for a brunch with William's family.

The girls and beautiful G.G.

Adde after a trip to Mardi Gras ;).

Aunt Kak with her girls...not sure why they look so stunned.

Clare and her beads!

Gams helping Clare tackle one of many presents. The girls are so blessed to have such a giving family. Thank you to all who brought them sweet gifts!

And then we played the exchange game and my husband ended up with this wonderful (as he would describe) or annoying (as I would describe) gift. The Forever Lazy complete with a zipper on the rear so you can visit the potty without removing it.

And yes, he opened and put it on right away. He has been spotted in it multiple times around our house and it wouldn't be so bad if he was just wearing it for comfort, but he wears it for the "lazy" excuse.

Gams with her sweet boy!

Lil Man with Aunti Di.

The Divas opening their loot. Check out those hats!

Clare playing Spill the Beans with Holly. That games been a hit!

The Holley family! Everyone present!

We packed up after gift opening, headed down the road and stopped at church on our way home. Then we dashed home to pick up some goods and went over to my sister's new home for Christmas Eve with the Schindler (my mom's) family.

5 minutes after we walked in, the girls were already having a dance party with Em & Kate.

Our attempt at some family pics!

10 minutes later into all the make up! My beauty queens!

Opening more loot!

Lil man and his new hat...and his little red face from all the drooling and hands in mouth. Give him some Aquafor!

Uncle Dale and his Divas!

It was a great night and we made it home to put out cookies and milk for Santa. Chritmas #3, #4 and #5 to come!

Misc Holiday Happenings

Look at this sweet Lil Santa. He is just so sweet and innocent...I could just eat him up!

Look at these sweet Lil Trouble Makers. They are just so sweet and innocent too...NOT. They are ALWAYS up to something. I asked them 10 times to put up the Twister game and told them they were going to time out if it was not up when I walked back into the room. It's obvious they listen as I walked back into this!

The girls house decorated with lights. Pops, I hope you approve.

Daddy's BIG helpers. They help him bring in the wood every night...well every night that it's cold and not hot and rainy.

The Three Bears.

Not sure what he did, but it worked. He ran them out!

A few quick shots at the girls Christmas Party at school. Miss Clare.

Miss Adde.

Miss Adde and her sweet friend Chloe.

The girls first 'big girl' braids. I know I shouldn't have done this as they are going to want them all the time.

My little princesses! They are super princesses these days!

Even posing for the camera!

And Lil Man helping me figure out my Sticky Mini Bun recipe that we're making for Holiday treats! The girls were NOT happy about him lounging on their sleeping bag!

Busted! I walked into this one morning. I promise it was the last time as they clearly understood how big of a NO NO it was to wake baby brother up in the morning. I'm pretty sure He LOVED it, but Mommy was not as happy.

Whew I feel better that I fit all that randomness into one post verses a bunch of individual posts for each of those happenings. I need to get caught up before Christmas because I'll be right back behind again.

More pics with Santa

Santa visited the girls at school and their feelings towards him were still the same. Clare was a little unsure but toughened up and went right up to him and Adde only agreed to stand on the other side of Clare so she could protect her.

Clare..yes Clare, talked Adde into coming up and just standing by her.

Just some random pics....

When Elfee appeared for the first time this year.

Great landing spot...exactly where Mommy lands most of the time! In the wine!

The girls watching the Christmas Parade with their friends.
