Snow Days. . . Finally

Third Time is a Charm ( we are crossing our fingers!)

Victor went into surgery this morning for his third set of tubes ...poor little guy. He was so happy to leave the hospital. Once we got into the elevator to head home he kept saying to me over and over, "I like my home!" He must be feeling better all ready. He was so pleasant all day long:) or maybe... just maybe.... it was the get well "big black donut" Uncle Karl brought over for him today!

Never too late to re-purpose!

When I was dejunking this summer I came across my prom dress from 20 years ago. . .I thought it would make cute Christmas skirts for Amalia and Karolina. So I just chopped off the bodice and used all the fabric from the full skirt. My mom sewed the original dress from 1992 and she helped me with the girls skirts ( I have a fear of putting in zippers:) I thought they turned out cute especially paired with the tights Grandma brought back from Switzerland. What can I make with my other prom dress . . . . .?

Cutting A Christmas Tree

We had such a fun time heading down to Spring City to cut a Christmas tree with Grandpa. It was a beautiful sunny day, not even too cold. We found a perfect tree right away and enjoyed the hot cocoa and donuts and good company. Dad brought along his Norwegian Spark ( sled of sorts). We had a very fun Saturday.
