Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving day I walk/ran a 5K with my mom and sister. This was slight crazy considering I was almost 5 months pregnant. But we made it!!

Yes...we actually ran with the turkey hat on.

Someone stole my turkey hat!!!

Disneyland!!!

We have connections, so we were able to get into Disneyland for a steal on Veteran's Day (I think that was the holiday)! This was Kira's first trip a couple of years since the boys last went so we were all REALLY excited to go.

Road trip to Utah - November 2011

We went to Utah at the beginning of November for Great-Grandma Jacklin's 90th birthday extravaganza. This was our first family trip back to Utah since the boys were little. It was tight with 5 people, but we all survived the trip in our trusty Camry. We stopped for the night in St. George and resumed our trek the next morning. It was incredibly helpful breaking the drive up. I would have gone insane from all the crying if we would have driven straight through.

Of course I neglected to take pictures at the birthday party so this is as good as it gets.

We stopped in Draper and discovered the new marker for Great-Grandma Fitzgerald. We miss her so.

Kira's first encounter with snow

We took the kids to Temple Square. We toured the Conference Center and the Visitor's Center. It was a fun little outing for our clan.

All tuckered out

It's hard to see, but it was snowing on us.

Berry pickin' - October 2011

We caught the VERY end of the berry picking season at Riley's Farm in Oak Glen.
This was the strawberry patch. There wasn't much to see at the raspberry and blackberry bushes.
We'll have to go again next year before all the berries are gone.

Poor Kira was trapped in the stroller
