Printable Relief Society 2011 calendars
Printable Relief Society 2011 calendars
These calendars are for the year 2011, they are not editable, and I do not have them in a format that you can edit them, or I would have offered it that way, reason being is I made it in a program called Printmaster, that is what I do most of my work in. Most people don't have it, so I just don't offer it in an editable format. It confused people, they thing they can open it in Photoshop or Printshop, those are different softwares.
Why did I make these? I had a sister email and ask if I had anything like this, she wants to print one out for each of her RS Sisters for Christmas, I told her I would put something together to help her. So here you go, for all to enjoy!
All art came from LDS.ORG or from free clipart, nothing is copyrighted, as long no one trys to sell the calendars.

When you get dressed to go to school, church, or just be with your friends, look over this checklist to make sure your appearance reflects what you believe. Ask yourself, “If I were with Jesus Christ, would I feel comfortable with my appearance?”

▫ My shorts or skirt go to my knees.

▫ My shirt is not low-cut.
*
▫ My clothes are not tight.
*
▫ I don’t look sloppy.
*
▫ My hair is combed.

▫ My clothes are not saggy, torn, or holey to fit in with a style.

▫ Labels or words on my clothes are respectful, not rude or offensive.
Tip: Sometimes you might think your clothes are modest—until you start moving around. To make sure you will still be modest if you bend over or run around, sing the Primary song, “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes” and do the actions while you sing. If you can still be modest with all that movement, you’re ready to go!
Respect Yourself.

I’m thankful for my mother’s hands, which help me every day.

Birthday Balloon Wreath
How cute is this:
I made one yesterday for our Super Saturday coming up, VERY easy, I bought the balloons at the dollar store(cheapest by far, even if I tried to buy in bulk) I even bought the curly ribbon at the dollar store, I got the wreath at Hobby Lobby they are 50% off right now, my wreath was a 18" and it took me about 500 balloons, so the wreath was about $28.00 to make. I am going to offer a smaller one for the sisters in the ward thought!

82 Ways to Do Member Missionary Work
Check out this great list
1 Order several copies of the Book of Mormon to have on hand at home, in your car, at the office, in your locker, etc. Place in a noticeable location.
2 Study the Book of Mormon in public (while riding public transportation, in a waiting room at the doctor’s office, during a break at work, etc.)
3 Become familiar with the background of the Book of Mormon and be able to give a basic explanation in a minute or less. Practice with friends and/or family.
4 Write your testimony in a Book of Mormon and give it to local missionaries to hand out.
5 Write your testimony in a Book of Mormon and send it to a missionary serving from your ward to hand out in his/her mission.
6 Write your testimony in a Book of Mormon and give it to a friend, acquaintance, etc.
7 Donate a copy of the Book of Mormon to the local library.
8 Give the Book of Mormon as a gift for a birthday, Christmas, Easter or another special occasion.

Cute idea for PP night - Ketchup night

You provide the ketchup and a $3 bag of frozen tatertots or fries. The girls bring their personal progress books and go through them with leaders to "catch up" records sheets. We do this twice a year and have the girls get into small groups to read scriptures or work on bits of their "experiences" that they have in common to still accomplish. My girls love it! You can tell each one to bring a highlighter or colored pencil and show them how to highlight or underline each phrase of the experience as they do it, so they always know where they left off last time. This tiny organizational hint has helped my girls immensely! That way they always know what parts they've done, so they don't always feel like they're doing the same things over and over and never really completing it.

Are You Prepared?
Can you answer YES to each of these questions or do you need to work on them for you home?
1. Has your family rehearsed fire escape routes from your home? ,
2. Does your family know what to do before, during and after an earthquake or other emergency situation?
3. Do you have heavy objects hanging over beds that can fall during an earthquake?
4. Do you have access to an operational flashlight in every occupied bedroom? (use of candles is not recommended unless you are sure there is no leaking gas)
5. Do you keep shoes near your bed to protect your feet against broken glass?
6. If a water line was ruptures during an earthquake, do you know how to shut off the main water line to your house?
7. Can this water valve be turned off by hand wit out the use of a tool? Do you have a tool if one is needed?
8. Do you know where the main gas shut-off valve to your house is located?
9. It you smell gas, do you know how and would you be able to shut off this valve?
10. Gas valves usually cannot be turned off by hand. Is there a tool near your valve?
11. Would you be able to safely restart your furnace when gas is safely available?
12. Do you have working smoke alarms in the proper places to warn you of fire? Carbon Monoxide alarms?
13. In case of a minor fire, do you have a fire extinguisher that you know how to operate? (The fire department will test yours for free)
14. Do you have duplicate keys and copies of important insurance and other papers stored outside your home?
15. Do you have a functional emergency radio to receive emergency information?
16. If you and your family had to evacuate your home, have you identified an outside meeting place?
If an emergency lasted for 3 days (72 hours) before help was available to you and your family
17. Would you have sufficient food?
18. Would you have the means to cook food without gas and electricity?
19. Would you have sufficient water for drinking, cooking, and sanitary needs?
20. Do you have access to a 72-hour evacuation kit?
21. Would you be able to carry or transport these kits?
22. Have you established an out-of-state contact?
23. Do you have a first aid kit in your home and in each car?
24. Do you have work gloves and some tools for minor rescue and cleanup?
25. Do you have emergency cash on hand? (During emergencies banks and ATM machines are closed.)
