Morning Coffee & Gray Skies

I love getting up early on weekend, making a pot of coffee and watching the day come alive.  In winter when it grays sky that can be difficult. This morning as daylight started I was excited that possibly our fog could be lifting.

I took this picture at 7:30 am while sipping coffee and hoping for sun.

I knew it was damp out as I stood in the doorway but didn't realize how misty it was until I saw this photo.  Of course I had to step outside to check for myself.  Yep, high fog or Oregon Mist as they call it. It almost looks like it could be snowing. Looks like a gray sky day.

By 8:00am it had brighten up and the mist has lighten up.  But I don't think the sun will come out and play today. Okay it won't be Spring for a couple of months. My poor yard is horrible and it needs me to be out in it. Or is it I need sunshine and I need to be out there?

This is not good to have Spring Fever already!

ANOTHER YEAR

All the  Christmas decorations are down, well almost!  I put all my Christmas cards I receive on my pantry door. They bring me joy everyday as I pass by.

I was so lucky that I received more than would fit on the door.  I love receiving cards. It's a little way of keeping in touch with family and friends. I even love annual Christmas letters. In this day and age I receive so many picture cards. I love seeing how families grow.

 As you can see I have many of those picture cards. I received several last year and had great plans as to do somethings with them.  The truth is last year cards are still in a box.  So I need a plan! I thought about a photo album but I'm sure once in I wouldn't open the pages til the following year. What do you gals do in blogland??  I sure could use a little help!

The day is  coming soon that they will come down and I will be on to fresh and new!  I can already feel that Spring cleaning coming on.  OMGosh, did I really say Spring? I know, cool my jets , relax, it still Winter!

GO DUCKS

Did you see me doing flips yesterday evening????  Yes, my Ducks won the Rose Bowl!

I watched the game at my oldest son house with lots of jumping and yelling going on! He and his boy love their Ducks!

Now my other son is major, major Duck Fan!

This is them tailgating before the Rose Bowl!  They took a family trip and are all enjoying the festivities. The Rose Bowl picture at the top was taken as they entered the stadium.

It's almost game time and I am so please how the game ended!!
