NEW TOY

And it is all your fault. Yes, I am talking to my blogging friends! You see I have an addiction to reading blogs. I can hardly go a day without checking in and seeing what everyone is up too. Maybe they need to get an AA for blog stockers.

You see I tend to be on the go a lot. Whether it is traveling on a weekend, a longer trip, or off to grand kids, I need my daily blog fix. So I got a new toy.

It is a little netbook. It is small, compact and will fit in my overnight bag or even my purse for that matter.

I can check in on my blog or I can surf the Internet. I might even post a picture while on vacation with toes in the sand. It is not one if you plan on doing a lot of work or spread sheet. But as I said it is my toy to stay in contact with my new friends.

Here is my Pioneer Women's new book Black Heels to Tractor Wheels behind it so you can see it is about the size of a book. I've been having fun with it sitting on my sofa, watching tv and reading blogs. Who said I can't multi task?

So I am sitting here multi tasking and waiting for the snow they are predicting for our little corner of the world.

Best Friends

Good Morning!

My Mom has decided she is boring and has nothing to post so she asked me for help. Oh course I am always willing to help Mom so I want to introduce you to my best friend, Zorro. You see Mom and I went visiting this past weekend so I got lots of play time in. Isn't he cute, well I think so!!

Here we are taking a break on my Uncle Pete's lap. We do this quite well when we are not running though the house. Or how about exploring on our walks, that is great fun also.

I so want the weather to turn nice so I can go outside and play with my other friends at home. They only have two legs though but they can run really fast. No, I never chase I just play, honest!


When we got home after a fun weekend I was sooooooooo tired, I did what I usually do! Sleep! I really needed my nap for my little friend can be quite exhausting since he is a youngster!
So until next time I will continue to rest up and let's hope Mom gets some inspiration soon. This blogging can also be exhausting.

Needing Sun

The sun has come out but the temps have dropped. Sitting in my office I can at least enjoy blue sky. We have had some cold rainy days and I decided I needed a break. So guess what? I'm headed for sunshine in just 4 short weeks!!

Yes Costa Rica! A whole week in sunshine walking on the beach, hiking volcanoes, maybe a little shopping but mainly kicking back!

Ahh sun! I wonder if the water will be warm?

See that little circle, that's it my home away from home. A short walk down the path to the beach, ahhhhhhh!

Or this is a closeup of my home away from home! Yes it does have a pool so I'm hope for a relaxing exploratory week of sun!

I can close my eyes and feel the warmth right now. All I can say to the people of the Midwest to the east coast is I hope the big storm passes quickly. Come join me in the sun!
