Where did our nice weather go? We are now back to piles of snow outside. Yuck! We knew it wouldn't stay for long so we enjoyed the nice weather while we could. The first day of spring doesn't mean anything around here. No spring here. We can't wait for those sunny days to appear again!!

Arizona

At the end of February Tyler and I took a short trip to Arizona for my cousins wedding. I haven't seen my cousin in years along with a lot of his family so my sister and I decided that was a good enough excuse to go. It was suppose to be just a girls weekend getaway but we ended up bringing a couple kids along. My sister from Virginia also decided to join us. We were only missing my youngest sister who is in school in California. Melanie and I and the kids flew early Saturday morning together. We looked like a circus trying to get through the airport with three kids, a huge double stroller, our bags, and three car seats. It was rough but we made it with a couple of hours to spare before the wedding. The weather was gorgeous with just a little bit of wind that I'm sure I brought along with me since they say they never have wind around there. The sealing was beautiful, and reception was really fun. Then we got to play for a couple days. We got to take walks, shop, play at the park, eat grandmas yummy meals, eat fresh oranges off their tree, play aggravation and other fun games, enjoy the sun and lots more!! Bri Bri and Ty waiting outside for the bride and groom. Ty pretty much slept through everything.

My cute grandparents

The happy couple....Kevin and Victoria

The wedding was at 3:30 in the afternoon and then the reception was right after in a beautiful resort. We had a sit down dinner with music and dancing. It was really a lot of fun.

Waiting for our meal

Again Ty slept through all the festivities. He missed all the fun.

My sisters and I

Dancing the night away. Addy was having a blast. They had a special song for all the kids to dance together.

Ty was my date. Even though he was a little zonked out I still had to get a dance in.

Davan loved Tyler and any chance he got he was playing with him.

Bri, Ty and Davan

On Monday the girls went out to lunch. My parents and grandparents were kind enough to watch all four kids while we got to have some time out. We got lunch and did a little shopping. It was like old times. So much fun.

The circus came back when we were dropped back off at the airport. This time Tyler decided to scream until we go to the gate which made things a little more difficult. We got home safe and sound and were happy to see that the weather was nice here too.

Bri was so cute peeking out of her sling right before we got on the plane.

Enjoying the Sun

We have had a couple of really nice days lately. Where can you find us when is sunny and somewhat warm???

Jumping on our new Trampoline

and coloring with chalk and blowing bubbles with our friends.

We also enjoy going for walks and scooter rides. We are so excited for it to be summer. Bring on the nice weather please!!

Talking with Addy

Skype has become a favorite in our house with Kayden. He LOVES to talk to his little cousin Addy who lives in Utah. It is really so fun to watch the two of them, and the conversations are hilarious!!

I finally remembered to take a picture of my little sunbeam. Its only the third month of the year!! Kayden is in Primary and he still is not too sure of it. He likes his teacher and has friends in his class but he still says he doesn't want to go every week. It doesn't help that I am in primary too because then he just asks to sit on my lap. I have to keep myself hidden some weeks so he doesn't ask for me. But for the record he is a really cute sunbeam and he is learning lots. He always talks about how Jesus loves him and everyone else!

Goodbye Friends

A couple of weeks ago our good friends the Eriksons moved away to Washington. We were so sad to see them leave but we know they are on to bigger and better things. We both lived in Rexberg together but we didn't really know each other there even though we only lived a few doors down from each other in our married student ward. We had no idea that we both moved here until we saw each other at church one day two years ago. We hit it off big and became fast friends, and so did our boys. (We actually named Kayden after their Kayden thinking we would never see them again). We knew that one day they would have to move away because of work but it really snuck up on us fast. It was a fun two years reacquainting ourselves, spending lots of birthdays together, summer BBQ's, golfing, swimming, jumping on the tramp, watching movies, going out to eat, Superbowl parties and lots more!! We have made some fun memories with them and we really wish them the best in their new adventures. We will miss you!!

Goggle Boys

I don't know what it is about goggles but Kayden loves them, and he loves to wear them anywhere and everywhere. He is in a swimming class so we decided it would be appropriate to get his some goggles. He also likes to share his goggles and he thinks its so funny that Ty wears them. It's a good thing Tyler is such a good sport to all of our torturing!

A word about babies!

Lately Kayden has been telling me about a baby sister that he is going to have. I don't know where he is getting this idea from. No there are no announcements...I still have a baby! I think it might be from all of our pregnant friends but I'm not sure. Here is how one of our converstaions went:

Kayden: talking about a baby sister...
Me: Where is your baby sister?
Kayden: in Your belly
Me: How did she get in there?
Kayden: You ate her

I have no idea where he gets this stuff from
So for all you prego moms out there will you please stop eating the babies??
