Christmas tag • I'm it.
Real or artificial tree? Fake. I love the smell of real ones, maybe next year we'll get one.
Do you like eggnog? Like it, although I usually thin it down with milk.
Favorite gift received as a child? My memory is so bad. I would have to have one of my sisters jog my memory. I do remember our whole family getting bikes, and the big craze for cabbage patch dolls.
Do you have a nativity scene? Yes. I'm hoping to start collecting them. Not to many though.
Hardest? Easiest person to buy for? Hardest-both my girls. Easiest-Tyler.
Favorite Christmas movie? Elf. It make me laugh.
White lights or colored lights? Colored.
Favorite Christmas song? Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant and Wonderful Christmas Time.
Travel for Christmas or stay home? We usually travel every other year.
Do you open presents Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? The kids get to open one present on Christmas Eve. Grandma usually has a special present for them (pj's). Everything else gets opened Christmas Day.
Do you tell the Christmas story? Yes, we usually read it from the bible. This year we are going to try something new and act it out. Grandma DaBell found some cute costumes for the grandkids.
Favorite Christmas tradition. I have two. When we lived in California, we went to see the Temple lights on Christmas Eve. My parents got us a new ornament each year to put on our tree each year.
Megan, Amy and Bethany if your reading this.... Tag your it!

All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth
play this joke on Brookie. As you can see we all fell for it.
tooth #2While I was is Wisconsin, Jessica sent me a text message...
"All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth"
I could not believe it. When I left that tooth was just barely loose.
#3 will be coming shortly. (I give it a day tops). Ok, no joke, not
even an hour later Brooklynn's 3rd tooth came out.
I don't know how she's going to eat.

PB Loco Adventure II
Round 2. I had to go back one more time before I left. This time we had the special "snap, crackle, pop" (white chocolate PB, marshmallow fluff, bananas and rice crispies). Yummy! and cinny nilla again. I brought some of the peanut butter back for the girls to try.

PB Loco Adventure

PEANUTBUTTERLICIOUS!
The adventure for today was lunch at P.B. Loco. I have a new love for peanut butter. We must have been loco (crazy) because we had the PBLT. Yes, that is bacon, lettuce and tomato (sun-dried tomato PEANUT BUTTER) with cream cheese. We also tried the CINNY NILLA made with cinnamon and raisin PB, vanilla cream cheese, apple slices and caramel. Yummmm... my favorite.

The Adventures of Alyce in Wisconsin
I had the chance this past week to go out to Wisconsin and visit with my sister Megan. My journey started Saturday morning leaving Boise to Minnesota then on to Wisconsin or at least that is how it was suppose to go. After being delayed 6 hours in Minn. due to bad weather my flight was finally canceled till the next morning. Thankfully my in-laws live not far from the airport and they weathered the storm and came and got me. It was nice visiting with them and Gam. So the next morning (4:00am) Gary and Jackie took me back to the airport. My flight was suppose to leave at 6:00am but the weather in Greenbay was too icy. At 9:00am the pilot decided that we would leave and take a chance that the weather would be good when we got there. Just my luck, we wern't able to land and continued on to Detroit. I was beginning to wonder if Wisconsin even existed. After a long, long, long, walk/run thru the airport I was able to get a flight to Appleton which is the closet airport to Megan's house. 25 1/2 hours later, 6 airplanes, 4 airports, broken doors on airplanes, de-icers not working, bad hot chocolate, and lost luggage. I finally was on a plane to Appleton. Wisconsin does exist......
