May

Jog-a-thon
Carson just participated in the annual Bethany Blast or jog-a-thon. We had a beautiful, dry day and he ran hard. He ran 7 laps in 20min, which is just one lap under 2 miles. I was really proud of how hard he tried.

Cute younger siblings being the cheerleaders.

2nd Grade Music Program
The end of the year is always so busy. Carson was also just in the 2nd grade music program. His class were sea horses and he had a little speaking part that he did great job with. I'm always impressed with his  bravery because I certainly didn't have any at his age.

This is just a random picture of Stella. I love her girliness! She just loves to dress up and accessorize and I honestly delight in it, it's just so fun!

April - Baseball and Pinewood Derby

Little League Opening Day
For little league opening season they had a field day. All the teams had to have a team banner and walk across the field together. Carson is on the cubs this year with most of the same teammates as last year.

So far it's been a pretty dry spring so we've been able to have most of our games.

Pinewood Derby Time!
This was Travis' first attempt at the pinewood derby and we've been told it's all about the axles. He watched an instructional video on what to do and he and Carson spent a fair amount of time on it. The car was named Carson's Comet and it looked pretty cool. Unfortunately it wasn't a contender. We could tell Carson was disappointed, but Travis has a better idea of what to do next time. I guess with three boys he'll really have a chance to perfect this!

April- Easter

Stella is in love with "hop hops" and was so excited to see the Easter Bunny. Honestly I thought she'd end up being afraid of him, but as you can see from the picture she was thrilled! She talked about seeing the Easter Bunny for days! We normally don't go see the EB, but I'm so glad we did.

We dyed eggs and made bird nests with the cousins.

Seriously, her cute face is almost too much for me sometimes. I just think all her expressions are either adorable or hilarious.

Easter morning the kids had to hunt to find their baskets.

Stella's little toy was a "bubble maker" as she likes to call it. The kids played with it forever and it's already broken and I've had to buy a new one.
Holden got a little golf set.
Carson is really in to Star Wars and got an action figure.

We went to the annual Easter egg hunt and dinner at the Newsoms' barn. We were lucky and had a beautiful day so we could have the hunt outside. That really rarely happens in Oregon.

These eggs don't have candy in them, they have money! I can't remember how much each of them got, but they all went home with some extra cash.

Yummy Evelyn's cookies!
