Enjoying a Nice March Day!

This week was pretty routine here....well except Saturday getting a lot of stuff packed up. We did go to the park as we do often. Especially now that it is nice outside and will be getting too hot to go soon. Kayla and Luke love it. We did go to a spring training A's vs. Royal's baseball game with Kayla and Luke's Great Aunt Kathy. It was pouring rain, so we had to wait for 40 min. for it to start up again. It was fun huddling under the food tent with a number of the other fans while we waited. Kayla loves the rain though since we don't get much here in Phoenix. As you can see her enjoying the rain at Aunt Kathy's house after the game. Taking a shower as she called it, standing under the rain gutter at Kathy's house. Kid's will be kids.

Luke is a little man for sure now. He just looks too little
to walk as you can see in the picture below.

We are getting excited to go to Kansas City though. One week!!!!!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

So, I am trying to do this weekly now. Happy Saint Patty's Day everyone. We had a fun week this week. Over the weekend Keith and I went up to Sedona to go camping, and I ran a 5k up there. Keith went camping with the boy scouts the week b4 so he wasn't too enthused about it, but I thought it was a blast. And he was super kind to be willing to take me considering. Even though he had allergies really bad, and that didn't help things. It was pretty windy, and his eyes were really red and puffy the next day. The race was... yeah, super hard. Really hilly, I mean crazy hills, and high altitude, wow! I almost passed out, but it was fun looking back at it. I should have known since it was Sedona. But since I had never been there before I guess I wouldn't have known. Sedona is a beautiful Red Rock tourist city. It really was beautiful though. I want to go back again.

Luke and Kayla stayed home with grandma and grandpa Busby. They had a blast too going to the zoo,... and doing all sorts of fun things. It was Luke's first time away from mom and dad overnight, and he did great!
Luke makes the most hilarious faces these days! It cracks me up.
Luke LOVES qtips. He just thinks there the best. He knows exactly where to find them and goes to town. He's feel'in pretty cool with a whole handful!

Kayla Loves the Carousel or merry go round at the zoo. She went on it twice, and Luke too. Luke was a little scared at first, but then thought it was fun. They got to go to the zoo again 2 days later. What lucky kids.
That's all that's goin on around here. We need to start getting our house ready to move. Aaaah!! Later. Posted by Picasa

Family picture

This is actually from January, but I guess at least it is all 4 of us. It doesn't happen very often that we get a pic with all of us in it. Posted by Picasa

March 2007

I'm sorry I haven't updated my blog in forever. We are doing well here. Kayla and Luke are so much fun. They keep us entertained. We go to the park often, and these pictures are from the park playing around. Luke makes the funniest faces these days. With his seven teeth he has quite the grin. A few weeks ago we borrowed one of our friends backpacks and all went hiking at a mountain 5 minutes from our home. IT was so fun! The kids really loved it too. Except Kayla kept saying, "I wanna walk mom, Mom, can I walk?" Over and over. Finally near the end we let her get down and walk. She did pretty good. But commented that, "this is a really big mountain" For her little legs it was pretty much vertical. Luke is walking these days. He started really walking at about 81/2months. We call him our little man. ONe of his favorite things to do is push the kitchen stools around the room. How funny he is. Hope you all are doing well. We are getting ready to move to Provo in the fall since Keith is going to MBA school at BYU. IT should be an adventure. Exciting! THough we will miss our ward, friends and neighborhood here, and of course Keith's parents.
