All in one week

Landon has achieved some HUGE milestones all last week!

Climbing up the stairs on his own, like a pro! (mommy is a great spotter though) :)

CRAWLING! I took the video a little late, you can tell he's been crawling for a while!
And, he now can pull himself up on things and stand!
All at 7-7 1/2 months old! My baby is growing up too fast!!

He is such a sweetheart of a boy, and we love him so much!

Greenbriar River Trail

Last Sunday our little family decided to go on a little outing to the Greenbriar River Trail that's here in Lewisburg since Eric has never been there. It was a lot of fun! This trail is where I did alot of my training for my half marathon before I got pregnant with Landon. It used to be a railroad, now paved over. Which is why it's so popular to run on because it's the ONLY flat place here. It is 78 miles long of pure beauty too! It was a great sunday stroll!

There were beautiful waterfalls along the way...

 Olivia and I running ahead

 Another beautiful waterfall
The BEAUTIFUL scenery! It is such a beautiful trail. It goes right along side the Greenbriar River.  I love West Virginia!

We walked a mile and a half in to a spot where you can walk down to the river. Olivia loved it! She loved throwing rocks in and running everywhere. Gosh she's so cute! I love her!

 Seriously?? I live here?!?

Love my boys!!

P.S. Another blog post below. I know, I didn't go to bed like I said I would....
I just ate a half pint of ben and jerry's icecream and I don't feel guilty at all. Well, maybe a bit, but I don't care. It was worth it after a day like today. Olivia is regressing in her potty training and Landon is on a crazy sleep (or shall I say NO sleep) schedule. Which equals a grumpy momma. Which then, equals ben and jerry's.

I am going to UTAH in JUNE for my family reunion!!! I am SOOO EXCITED!!! I am taking my kidlets with me, but Eric has to stay in WV and I am dreading leaving him. We are never apart, but he has to start his rotations. Oh, medical school. We have a love/hate relationship sometimes. That week we will have a hate relationship. Just a shot in the dark there. I guess I should just get used to it, even though the only difference will probably be sleeping next to him at night. I can't sleep without him so we will see how it goes. Besides not having my hunny with me, it will be a good trip. I am excited to see my family, and my extended family. To go to one of my favorite places! Hurricane UT! So many good memories. Great people...AHHH! I just can't wait.

JUNE 5TH, JUNE 5TH, JUNE 5TH, JUNE 5TH....the day AFTER Eric's boards!!! Will prob be one of the best days this year! Can't wait. He can't either!

A Walk to Remember is on T.V. right now! I love this movie! Takes me back to highschool!

PARKERSBURG, WV. We will be living there in one short month. It will be a bittersweet move. I love it here in Lewisburg and I will hate to leave my friend Ashly here, but it will be nice to live in a city, (even if it's a small city)  again. Eric and I have only lived in small towns since we've been married so it will be an interesting change. They have a mall. Anybody who knows me, knows that this is a big deal to me! haha. Let's just say I will have something to do there. :) We are downgrading in our housing though and I might die. BUT the complex has a POOL! and a playground, gym, and tennis courts! So that will make up for it!...hopefully...

Eric broke his thumb!!! STUPID SOFTBALL! Poor guy. He has a cast on upto his elbow and it's getting in the way of everything! His end of the year exams..board study...moving...UGH. We might have to set back his board date a week. We will see. We will find out after our 3 hour trip to Morgantown,WV to the Orthopeadic surgeon. Pray he doesn't have to have surgury to get his bone pinned back in place!

Landon is army crawling everywhere!!!....
He is breaking 2 teeth right now! And that kid is a BRICK! Big boy! My 6 1/2 month old boy can wear 12 mo clothes! I have always wanted a straping young man for a son! He's so cute, all he does is coo and smile. He's also a silent smiler and laugher! He's my little mute! I laugh that way too...he gets it from me.

Olivia's big personality just keeps getting bigger and she is turning into quite the little joke-ster...

She teases Eric and I! Her favorite is grabbing this we need/have and runs with them. So we have to run after her and she just gets her jollies out of it everytime. Little stinker! She also will run up behind Eric and I, and slap our butt and say "BOOM, BABY!" hahaha, it makes me laugh just thinking about it. I know where she got the "boom, baby" from (emperor's new groove) but can't imagine where she got hitting my butt from...cough cough...eric...cough.

I am getting up early and running every morning with my friend Keri and it's alot of fun actually! I love running. Keri's great too. Which reminds me...I need to go to bed.

So I noticed that I haven't blogged since Landon was born...Yes, I know, a newborn child is a great excuse to get off the blog band wagon for a while, but I am ready to get back on since I know you all missed me so much! :)

YUCK

Landon pee'd on my face during his 2 A.M. feeding last night.

That sure woke me up faster than anything else at that time in the morning.

It was prob the grossest thing that has ever happened to me. YUCK.

P.S.

There are two new blog posts below, Enjoy my friends! :)
Our little family is gracing Omaha, NE with our presence again this summer! We are finally home, and loving it, as always. We have been here a week and have had so much fun already. A couple nights ago, Eric, Olivia, and I went to an Omaha baseball game in their new stadium, and we had SO much fun! We were in the first 1,000 people to get to the game so we each got a free t-shirt! And one of my favorite things of the evening was the kiddie zone they have in the stadium! Olivia LOVED it! We went early so we could get the t-shirts and let her play. They had a merry-go-round, an inflatable trampoline, an inflatable slide, and an inflatable obstacle course, and a huge regular playground! $5 per kid, but no big deal. Then we ate hot dogs! It's not a baseball game without hot dogs! Olivia stayed with us for a little bit of the beginning of the game, then Eric's parents came and picked her up and took her home for us and let us stay and watch the game. And let's not forget the fireworks after the game! It was a great night and we will never forget it!

As a parent it is so much more fun watching your kid have fun, than you going out and doing something. Seriously, I had more fun because I knew Olivia loved it! Her little heart felt like a hummingbirds from running around everywhere, she loved it so much!

Olivia getting finished with the obstacle course. "I did it!"

Us enjoying the game! See that cute little girl behind us on the right? Her grandparents were so mean to her. I wanted to turn around and punch them in the face!! Anybody who talks that way to a toddler deserves a good Joy Slap I think!
We lost 11-5. That's okay though, it was probably because they changed their team name from the Royals to the Stormchasers. Idiots.
And last but not least. the great fireworks show they put on for us! It was such a good end to such a good date! It was AMAZING to get out of the house and do something different and fun! Thanks Rick and Ranae for watching Olivia for us! We had a blast!
