Turning of the page.....

Doesn't look like anything grand, huh??  Well, this baby...or a few alot like it, are now our lively-hood!  About 6 months ago, we bought 2 of these bad boys and sent them to the oil fields, leased to companies running oil.  We played things safe, and David and I both kept our jobs with Idaho Sod....UNTIL NOW!!!  After ALOT of thought, prayers, tears, sweat....you name it....we made the decision to give up all that we have known, and start a business!!  So....we are now stepping into the world of the self employed! (Sort-of!) We will actually be employed by a large company in North Dakota, while we are working on building our own business. My oldest brother works in North Dakota as a "pusher" or dispatcher running water to the well sites.  He knows the ins and outs of the oil biz, and so we teamed up as 'Real Enterprises' and we will be water tycoons?!?

David worked for Idaho Sod for 14 years, and I answered the phones for them for the last 5. While it provided a compfortable living for our family, it came with a price!  David worked LONG hours in the summer, and so he missed out on alot of the fun family summer activites!  And, I had a phone constantly attatched to my ear!! Aiden will be starting school next year, and summer will be his only time for family vacations, and David and I decided that it was time to make time for what is important!  This move will make it so that David is home more, and we may actually get a SUMMER VACATION!!!  :)

I have been packing a phone around with me for so long, that it will be an adjustment to just get to be a mom....with no interruptions!  I am very excited!  Aiden is thrilled that he can have my un-divided attention, and that I won't have to sush him when my phone rings!

So, here's to a new chapter!  Here's to a new way of life for us!

Happy Mothers Day!

Mothers day is one of those days that I wear my stretch  marks and extra flab as badges of honor!!  I always wanted to be a mom, and I can't explain just how much I love these kiddos with words!  They are the light of my life, and I would't trade the sleepless nights, the messes, or the extra pounds that have taken up residency on my backside for anything!! :)
We went to church, and my own Mom came with us to celebrate the day!
After church, I was treated to  not having to make dinner, and we went to my favorite restaraunt....CAFE RIO!! Mmmmmm!!!

Leavin' on a jet plane!

Aiden has quite the imagination!  The things that boy can do with a card board box are amazing!!  Last week, he decided to make an airplane out of a box that I had gotten in the mail earlier that day!  He had me help him put a steering wheel in it and he "flew" in it for most of the afternoon!
He was especially exctited to show Adylin his new ride!  As soon as she woke up from her nap, he insisted on taking her for a ride on his airplane!  She was just as excited as he was, and giggled and laughed as he made airplane noises in her ear!
(He is teaching her how to drive in this photo!) :)  After they landed, the box magically turned into a bus that dropped Adylin off at her moms house, while Aiden drove the rest of the kids home from school!  He is such a funny little boy!  I love him to pieces!!

6 Months Big!!

My baby girl turn the big 6 months old yesterday!!  She is growing up so fast and I can't do ANYTHING to stop her!  She is ALL girl, a princess through and through! She is still completely a Mammas girl and keeps VERY close tabs on me!  She loves her brother!  He makes her smile...until he gets in her space a little too much and then she is not shy about letting him know of her irritation!  She is still not sleeping 100% through the night, but she is doing better!  She only wakes up once or twice, and not usually to eat.  She is very happy in the middle of the night and likes to chat! I have to really discipline myself NOT to go in and just love on her at 2 in the morning.....because I know if I do, it will be a FOREVER play time!  She is a talker!  She squeals and giggles and sometimes it sounds more like screaming, but she is constantly jabbering about something!  She is beautiful and she completely melts my heart every time I look at her!  Happy 6 month birthday baby girl!!!

Kids Fair

Last week the was a kids fair in Idaho Falls, and I had contemplated going for a few days, then Rindee told us that Miss Cambree would be dancing there, and we decided to fight the crowds to see her dance!
The crowds were absolutely CRAZY!!!  There was elbow to elbow people in the fair!  Just outside the door, they had this helecopter that you could just look at.  Aiden was a little irriatated that they only let you look in the window!  As we were walking away, he said, "Why do they put that here and not let us in it?"  Amen buddy!
Little miss Sassy enjoyed people watching from the comfort of her stroller!

And Aiden finally found something cool that he could actually get in!  He got to sit in the back of a police car and he got to sit in the drivers seat of a fire engine!!!

There was a line about 2 miles long to meet Dora the ,Explorer and Diego, so we waved to them from a distance, and went on our way.....then we met THIS guy!!!  MARIO!!  Aiden has been really into playing Mario lately and was so excited to meet him!!  He ran right up to him and said, "Hey! I play your game!" :)
We finally made it through the rediculous crowds over to the stage where Cam was dancing.....Adylin LOVED the dancers!!  She was grooving and shaking to the music and she liked the bright sparkly costumes!
Aiden insisted on going on one bouncy house while we were there.....the lines were CRAZY long, and it was the worst place imaginable for a fair!  So....unless my cute little nieces or nephew are dancing next year as well.....we will for-go the kids fair!
