Avery update

Here's Avery at the end of her first year of preschool. Never have I seen such a solemn face and pose on my child :) She is high-energy, funny, confident, and social. She is pleased to spend all day playing with her friends. Last week Avery told me her friend at the gym is "purple, like nicki." Nicki is her neighbor friend who has black skin. Today she slept through church and I brought it up on the ride home to which she responded "no, I didn't". Ummm, ok, but I have witnesses! Also, she is growing like a weed. She often asks me to have a girl baby, too. Anyway, Avery is a love able cuddly girl whom we enjoy having in our family so much!

Tate Update

Here's Tate at the end of his Kinder year.  He loves his school, classmates, and teacher.  He loves to learn and it is very exciting to hear him beginning to read on his own.  He loves to retell me about stories heard at school.  Lately, they read a manners book and he is big on manners.  He says the worst manner to forget is saying "shutup".  I say the worst is ingratitude, and Eric says that murder is the most rude thing to do.  Grandma Shirlene says the most rude behavior is to say "Yuck, this is gross!  Who made this?"

Tate loves to build things and color.  He loves to play with the neighbors.  He is just a really sweet and fun boy who has lots of silly faces and laughs. He especially loves to make Henry laugh.
