Dellin is already 8 months old. Where has the time gone? I swear he was just born last month.
He is such a sweet boy and seems to be staying that way. His little personality has really started to come through and he is a little funny guy.
He adores his older brother.
He has been crawling all over the place for the last month.
He is ALWAYS smiling.
He loves food... Just like mom.
He cut his first tooth this month.
He pulled himself to a standing position this week... YIKES!
He loves to be kissed and hugged.
He is a great sleeper.
He is saying, "MAMA" already.
He is our Delly, Welly, BELLY!
We love Dellin so much and LOVE having him in our family. He makes us want to have at least eight more.

WE WILL MISS GRANDMA JEAN
Sterling's sweet grandma, Jean Chytraus Erickson passed away last Thursday morning at the age of 86. Jean was Emma Jean's mother. Her husband Dellin (who our Dellin was named after), passed away 10 years ago. What a happy thought to think of them reunited!
Grandma came to everything and always had a great time. She loved to stay up late. We loved playing cards with grandma and she always beat us at 5 crowns. She had a wonderful memory. We loved talking with her and will miss her sweet phone calls and birthday cards that she ALWAYS sent. She loved to go on cruises. We were lucky enough to go with her to Alaska the year after we got married.
I love this picture with her on our wedding day.
Christmas 2008 with Sterling Henry.
April 2010 on Dellin's blessing day.
4 generation picture with Dellin on his blessing day. We miss you grandma and will always cherish the sweet memories that we have with you!
We are headed to Utah tomorrow for her funeral. It will be a QUICK trip but we are really looking forward to seeing the whole family.

Fathers-and-Sons Camp Out 2010
Last year at this same time of year, I took Sterling Henry with me to Arizona for a sister's trip. And that trip happened to fall on the same weekend as our church's fathers-and-sons camp out. Sterling was pretty sad that he couldn't take his boy on the camp out.
This year I made sure to plan NOTHING that would get in the way of the camp out. They went, and had a blast!
His face says it all in this picture.
They went on a hike to this little lake. Sterling Henry insisted that his dad carry him for most of the way.
I am pretty sure that Sterling Henry was in pure heaven to have his dad all to himself. He came home with the biggest smile on his face.

MATTHEW
We were lucky enough to be able to watch Matthew for the whole day and let's just say Sterling Henry was in heaven. Matthew is one of Sterling Henry's favorite friends.
We played lots of Legos...
We raced over to the window to watch the garbage truck...And we played non-stop with trains and race cars.
It was one the the best days we have had in a while.
Matthew, please come back soon!

LOTS OF MONKEY BUSINESS AROUND HERE
Our boys are growing up so fast. They both have so much energy and keep us on our toes. Dellin is all over the place now that he is crawling. He still smiles from ear to ear all day long.
Just look at that face.
He loves to crawl over to the weights and move them around. The crazy thing is that they are really heavy and hard to move. He is our little muscle man!
Here is some video of Dellin crawling. The end part is a normal day for little Dellin. Sterling Henry LOVES to jump him and to sit on him.
Sterling Henry is such a sweet little boy even though he definitely has a wild side. He got these new monkey pajamas and he is OBSESSED! He pretty much wants to wear them every night and loves to say "monkeys" when he has them on.

I LOVE MY HUSBAND
Sterling was gone over the weekend and he was missed big time. He went down to Florida for the BYU game with some friends. While at the game, he met up with his brother Eric and his wife Marci.
Although BYU lost, it was still a great weekend.
I had the two boys to myself for the WHOLE WEEKEND. We had a lot of fun. We went on lots of walks, to the zoo, out to dinner, to the park, and did some shopping. I was pretty worn out most days. I realized just how much I look forward to Sterling coming home at night.
This is how things look every morning. I love my two baby boys!
I did manage to get lots of projects done while Sterling was gone. I made this cute pumpkin wall hanging, lots of baby gifts and started on the boy's Halloween costumes! It was a good project weekend.
By Sunday night when Sterling returned, we were all very happy to see him.
Welcome back babe!

COOL COOL CARS
Sterling Henry is 100% boy. He loves anything with wheels. Lately, he has been into his cars and calls them his "cool cool cars". It's pretty awesome.
He loves to line them up on the table. I snapped a picture today before he knocked them all off.
Posing next to the "cool cool cars".We couldn't be prouder of our Little Man. He really is so much fun. He talks all the time, and surprisingly has a strong personality.
Dellin is the cutest thing around town. We love our little cub. He smiles non-stop.
He has started to push himself up into the crawling position. This is the best picture that I could get. He knows he's big time just look at that face. There is nothing that I would rather be doing than staying home with these two sweet boys.

COUGS AND COOKIES
The boys are ready for the season to start. Dellin can barely control his excitement.
Sterling Henry is yelling, "Go Cougs", and yes, Dellin is putting up a number 1.
I put Dellin in the crib with Sterling Henry to wake him up from his nap. S.H. rolled over and hugged Dellin, and Dellin loved it as much as I did!
This picture is sort of random but I am really proud of these cute sugar cookies that I made for a baby shower last week for my two good friends. One is having a girl and the other just had her boy. They are pretty plain but I loved how they turned out!I sure hope the Cougs make us proud tonight!

Myrtle Beach was AMAZING!
We just got back from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the BEST beach vacation EVER! Sterling's brother rented a house and invited us all down. (Thanks Eric!)
The beach was beautiful. The water was so warm, and it was shallow for a long ways out. Perfect for kids... and me.
We spent lots of time together. Dellin's face in this picture is PRICELESS!
Little Man ran around on the beach a LOT.
He chased lots of birds.
Sterling was in heaven with all the fishing he could handle. The boys went deep sea fishing one of the days. Needless to say, we have a freezer full of fish.
His little fish.
And his bigger fish. Serious bragging rights.
Sterling also worked in tons of fishing from the beach. And with all that fishing from the beach, he "needed" a casting net to catch his own baitfish from the surf. By the end of each day, he'd have his cooler full of fresh bait for the night's fishing.
I love this picture of my boys catching baitfish. Sterling Henry has no idea just h0w cool his dad is.
And every night Sterling was fishing with his nephews and brothers, using their fresh bait. Most of the time, they just caught little sharks. On the second to last night, they caught a bigger fish, cut it up as bait and used it to catch this baby. Impressed yet??? (Don't worry, they let it go when they were done taking their trophy pics.)

And when they weren't fishing, we were relaxing. It was a very relaxing week.
On Saturday we drove down to Charleston with Parley and spent the day there. We wanted to go out to Fort Sumter, but we barley missed the last boat. Here is a picture of it in the background.
Charleston is really charming. The waterfront was so cute. Super windy picture.
Fort Moultrie was closed, but we at least could walk around the outside.
We had a lot of fun driving around with this little guy in the back. And he is obsessed with dad's sunglasses. Such a cool Little Man.I give Myrtle Beach and the surrounding area 5 stars. I would go back in a heartbeat and plan on doing so in the future!
