Daily

School, drawing practice, chauffeuring, cooking, cleaning, volunteering, card-making - just some of the things that I have been up to. And there is so much more brewing in my head that I can only wish I could add to the list!

November 1st marks the beginning of Art Every Day Month and I can't wait to take part! This past month I have been really pushing myself to do something creative or art related every day and most days it actually happens. I'm hoping November is the shove I need to make it more of a daily habit. And maybe give me something more to share with you!

Until then, have a happy and safe Halloween!

It's Okay

As a mother and a wife, I have the tendency to put myself last.  My family is the most important part of my life.  So sometimes I forget that I need to take care of myself too. Okay, not sometimes, more like many times.

I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one that does this.  So I hope you take this to heart as well.  I know that taking care of myself keeps me sane!

Dream Big, Work Harder

These cards that I'm posting were made for when I need that little push to get me moving - but I hope that they help my fellow readers as well.  So dream big, work harder (and smarter)!

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend!  And have a happy mother's day to all of the mothers and mothers-to-be out there!

Keep Calm

"Keep Calm, Carry On" - A quick card inspired by the Mermaid Warriors class that I had mentioned in a previous post.

I know times can get crazy or frustrating.  So I made this card, based off of the famous poster, to remind me to take a step back and calm down.
