February 2015

Highlights from the month:
Rachel started to learn a cartwheel and did a real beam in class.
Rachel has a cough again.
Rachel tied some knots with auxiliary cord and cellphone cord.
Both girls used baby powder to dry their feet and slide the down stair railing faster. There was powder everywhere!
We made a Valentine wreath with Grandma Bentz
We did school time with Rachel.  She knows her numbers and can write most of them.
We had a Valentine party with friends at the park.
Grandma and Grandpa Bentz, Bill, Mary Ann, William, and Casey came over for dinner and we played Just Dance.
Mom and Dad subbed for nursery and Rachel helped us know how to run the class.
We bought flowers and planted them and rode bikes with Maddy.
The girls went to the dentist and loved it!
We made a ton of cookies and decorated them with Maddy and Aubry.
We are focusing on trying to get Andrea to talk nicer and not boss.
Both girls are doing awesome at gymnastics.  Andrea is walking down into a back bend and Rachel is doing a back bend.
The girls helped mom dust the house.
The girls filled mom's tub completely full to the point where water was splashing out everywhere and they made a huge mess with water and bubbles.
We had a house warming party and we had sooo many friends over at the same time.  The girls had a blast.
Mommy and Daddy took ballroom dancing lessons and got to compete in a small competition between studios.  We did the Tango and Waltz.

January 2015

January was spent putting our house together.  Mom Bentz helped mom with several projects and by the end of the month most everything was assembled and put on the walls.

Rachel's 3rd birthday.  She actually wasn't feeling well, so we let her take a nice long nap, but eventually we had to wake her up to take her to her own birthday party.  Melanie made the amazing Jake and the Neverland Pirate Cake and we had a fun obstacle course to follow to collect gold doubloons.

Highlights from the month:
We shopped a lot to get towels, towel rods, curtains and curtain rods, etc.
The sewer in our downstairs toilet backup while I was doing laundry.  Andrea saw the water and we heard the gushing. I rushed in and turned the washing machine off which stopped the water and we kept it from getting the carpet.  The came and cleaned the lines out and then it was fine.
The girls helped me label and organize the pantry.
we drove to Vegas and met Mooker's girlfriend, Emily and we played Just Dance.
Colette had a princess party with the real Anna and Elsa.
We decorated the girls room.
Rachel jumped into the pool with her arm floaties.  She is so brave and crazy.
We ride bikes to the park a lot.
Daddy helped Shiloh build his pinewood derby car.
Andrea gave a talk and wrote a lot of it.
FHE lesson about pre-mortal life.  We put a bead on a string and that represented this earth life.
The girls like to rollerblade.  They also love the TV show Octonauts.
Zoee and Kadee came over and played.  They played hide and seek.
Rachel learned how to do a cartwheel at gymnastics.
Elder Bednar told Grandma and Grandpa Barclay that they would be blessed with the gift of tongues if their children would pray for them, so they asked all of us to pray for them daily.

I caught everyone playing t-party and doctoring their animals like Doc. McStuffins.

Jessica loved trying to get Collin.  She was obsessed with him.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates Obstacle Course.

Too adorable! The baby sister sucking on wrapping paper.

Her very own Roller blades!!! Of course we had to try them right away!

Playing with play dough the next day. Everyone had to try it out.

Jessica is starting to stand up on things.
We had took a little paper guy, Stanley, to the Gilbert temple for Canon.  He had a school project to see how many fun places Stanley could go to.

Rachel got a tu tu for her birthday!

The girls room is starting to come together. We know where we want the mirrors now!

This picture is so precious to me. Grandma Boy loved little Jessica so much and Jessica really loved her too.
 6 months old!!
We got to go to Hailey's birthday party!!! Andrea and Hailey are best friends from California.
Brooklyn colored all of their hair and decorated their faces.
Our very first purchase once we bought our home was a pool fence.  I think it turned out absolutely perfect!

We went up to Matt and Melanie's to meet Mooker's girl friend, Emily. It was a really fun weekend.

However the Packers lost, so dad had to console himself by eating Blue Bell Ice Cream.
Ed and Diana came over and brought Rachel a birthday gift. They are both so sweet.

Andrea and Rachel helped me decorate their room.  I think it turned out pretty cute.

The girls were so anxious to swim that we got in the pool in January.  So, of course we had to FaceTime daddy.

Both girls absolutely love Gymnastics with Miss Julie at the Rec Center.  They are doing awesome too.

Playing at the park and racing daddy across the monkey bars.

This is a list of things that Andrea is thankful for.  She wrote it for a talk in primary.

Grandma and Grandpa Bentz purchased all the supplies to make our mudroom entrance.  Then Grandma helped mommy put it together.

Mommy and Grandma spent a few hours on this cupboard. We couldn't quite figure out how to mount it on the wall, but eventually we figured it out and it was totally worth it!
Mom and Grandma Bentz hung the mirrors up.  We even had to cap off a power outlet with wire screws. We were very proud of ourselves.

Already very destructive, yet adorable!
