Andrea's 1st Halloween

Technically last year Andrea was a Pumpkin for Halloween and walked through all of Barnett Elementary School in the Halloween parade. Everyone thought it was very clever to dress my lovely big belly as a pumpkin.  It was pretty cute, but this year she was even cuter because people could actually see her.  This year she was a LION!!!!

 The Thursday just before Halloween the Law Partners (A fun group made up of all the law students' spouses) had a big Halloween party, parade, and Trick or Treating around the Carols (Where the law students study.) Andrea and I came to visit Daddy. I didn't get to stay long because I had to run off to teach aerobics, but Andrea stayed with Daddy and Trick or Treated a little bit and then went to class with Daddy.

 She had fun Trick or Treating with Daddy and she would have had a lot of fun at class with him as well, bit Mommy forgot to leave the diaper bag which had the bottle and a clean diaper. Andrea was tired, poopy, and hungry and didn't have any way of fixing those things until I finished teaching aerobics. Sorry Daddy. He did have lots of fun with her though. She was so adorable!

 Steve is serving as the 1st counselor in a Singles Ward Bishopric and I serve on the Activities Committee.  It's a wonderful calling for me. We planned a big Halloween Dance/Party and I was in charge of all the music and running games.  Steve helped a lot with running the games. We had the party in this really big barn in American Fork. People were also able to go on wagon rides as well. It was really run.

 These are two of our favorite people in the ward. Amanda and Bruce. They are both incredible people!

 This the Bishop and his wife. The dressed as Shrek and Fiona. Their costumes were perfect!!! The bishop was turned into a mummy during one of our activities.

 This is Steve running the doughnut eating contest. He is a fantastic leader and has done a great job at this calling.

 We did actually take Andrea Trick or Treating. We didn't go to very many people, but we had to take her Trick or Treating for her very first Halloween. We taught Andrea how to roar as soon as we bought the costume, which was about a month before Halloween. We wanted her to be able to roar for everyone while she was Trick or Treating. The funny thing is now she roars a lot, including during sacrament meeting and people wonder why in the world my baby is roaring. :-)

This is Andrea Trick or Treating downstairs to Loydel Jones. Also known as Grandma Loydel. This is Andrea's adopted Grandma because she sees her every day. Andrea really likes Loydel.

Trip to Arizona

 Auntie Sharon gave Andrea a Pillow Pet for her birthday. She LOVED the Bumble Bee! She could sit on it and pull on his antennas. She also loves to lay on it and cuddle with the Bumble Bee.

 Great Grandma Boy gave Andrea a cell phone for her birthday. She loves it. Loves to pretend she's texting.

 She also loves to try and talk on the phone, but tends to hold it the wrong direction. She sure does talk on the phone though. She knows what she's saying, but nobody else does.

 She LOVED playing in the fountain with Spencer. She was completely soaked, but I let her keep playing because it was so dang cute.

 Playing with Uncle Mooker at the Organ Stop Pizza Place. Mooker just got home from his mission to Germany a few weeks before.  This trip was Andrea's first time ever meeting her Uncle.

 It's really incredible. She can play so many different songs without any music. It's amazing!

 I tried to dance the Polka with Uncle Poncho. He slipped on his cowboy shoes, but sat right down on the bench instead of going down on the ground.

 Uncle Bill came and cut in. I assumed he was asking me to dance, but he threw in a little twist and danced with Uncle Poncho. I'm sure in the world we live in today some people were really bothered by it, but Uncle Bill was just being funny.

 It was a really fun night. All of us girls were so excited to have the opportunity to dance, so we went out on the floor and pretended we were a Greek family and danced all around in a circle. It was so fun.

 Saturday morning was picture day. It had been a really long time since the entire family had taken a picture. So we took advantage of everyone being there for Grandma's 85t birthday.

 We had Grandma standing for just a little too long during pictures and her legs were jello. She could barely walk, so Steve and Bill were Eagle Scouts and decided to use their skills. :-) They carried Grandma to a place where she could sit and rest for a bit. Grandma is so cute in this picture!

 We decided to take a few more pictures with our own camera while we were there. I think she is so beautiful in this picture.

 Grandma Bentz made Andrea these cool foam blocks. She loved to do several things with them. One of which included putting the blocks on her head.

 I can't remember who Andrea was disgusted with, but this is quite the glare!

 Melanie made this amazing cake for Grandma's birthday. It was really cool and really yummy.

 Grandma was soooo cute for her birthday. She is sooo positive and happy. She's such an example to everyone. Even though she can barely see, she never complains and is always positive. She makes everyone smile when they are around her. I'm so grateful to be able to be her Granddaughter. We love you Grandma and hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Andrea loved Chloe. She was constantly saying, "Da, Da,Da" We may have to get a dog some day. :-)  We had a lot of fun in Arizona and were very grateful that we were not only able to celebrate Grandma's 85th birthday, but that we were able to be there for Mooker's homecoming talk and to see him!
